Lizzie Haw
Hi Becky,

Do you really want me to change her name to Fontiane? I put it in there the way I did so her name would be Haw.

My merging three trees
Ended up with some of those weird relationships with living people as spouses of 17th C ancestors. Having to go one person at a time to clean up the horrible mess. I don't know what happened to Ancestry...lost alot of pix as well.

RE: Change to Lauterbach
I forget what the correction was....date? Anyway she was the wife of a first cousin twice removed so I learned doing my research. There is a photo on ancestry and she was a pretty woman. I believe they lived on Lakeside where part of Lewis Ginter is now. Thanks for making the fix! gaye

Mary Ann Loss
Hatteras Community Cemetery
Hi Rebecca, I noticed that you did some solid work documenting the Hatteras Community Cemetery which is also known as the Oden/Austin Cemetery. I would like to approach the Find A Grave management about merging the two cemeteries, but we need some information transferred before doing that. Would you consider comparing the two sets of memorials and then copying the obituary or other family information from the Oden/Austin Cemetery memorials into your Hatteras Community Cemetery memorials? Your thoughts? MA

francis maury allen
The Rev. Dr. Francis Maury Allen had a son in addition to the daughter mentioned with the picture of his grave. I think he died young and without issue. I feel sure that you know this. I am new. This is the first time I have been into this site. Forgive any assumptions and/or errors. I am overwhelmed by all of the info. THANKS!

Thank you so much. Your Picture is fine. I do appreciate your time you took to take it and contribute to site. I am new to findagrave and it is amazing. I would like to get another picture in the future but I don't want you to have to go back out and take it. I Live in Colonial Heights so I'm not that far for me.
I can not remember at all where it is in the cemetery. How do you find out where they are located in the Cemetery's?
Thank you so much for your help.

Chiswell Dabney Langhorne
Mr. Langhorne had three additional children that died in infancy. I have been working on the grave site of Mary A. Keen in Danville and I found their grave sites. One is John who died in 1870, his ID number is 78475195, His Sister was Mary who died in 1871, and her ID number is 78475250, and their brother Chiswell died in 1872 and his ID is 78475303. If you would be so kind to link the sites it would be appreciated.
Thank you for all your hard work in posting your finds on Findagrave.

Thanks for reply. If you already have a full view pix of the cemetery I'd love to have it. But don't make a special trip to get one. Again, thanks.

I have to admit, I didn't look at the Cemetery section prior to my request which is what I usually do. Is there, though, a sign that actually says 'Cemetery' anywhere there that you could photograph? Your efforts are appreciated. Best...

Howard G, Armstrong
Rebecca,
I just wrote a bio for the writer William H. Armstrong (author of "Sounder', a well-known children's book). Howard G. Armstrong was his father. Do you know if Ida Morris Armstrong (Howard's wife, and mother of the author) is also buried at the same cemetery?
