I've waited over 4 years to see your biography for Steve Powell. I offered to write it. I know "real life" gets in my way and that's why I'm just now getting back to you on this. I re-read your bio and I'm sure you'll find him an interesting person.
I believe he has a "Silver Star" from his experience in Korea. Maybe you can find out what it was for. Thanks.
(oh, I found out his daughter died in a car crash last year and she was going to help me write his bio. And I was given a date for his photo) Thanks

Elizabeth Jane Boutilier typed obit.
Barry, I recently sent you a typed obit thru 'edit' for Elizabeth Jane Boutilier. Could you share with me, the reason that you have as yet posted an obit on her virtual gravesite? I have the actual newspaper clipping, but have no scanner. I excluded the names of the living, as that only makes sense and I understand that it is a required stipulation on Find A Grave, although I have seen contemporary obits posted, it is not a wise thing to do. I don't know if you are , but I am not related to the Boutilier family, I 'inherited' this obit and many other items of genealogical interest, from a family member, now deceased, who had been a long time friend of their son in law's family. There is no reason for me to keep it, but I just don't see throwing something like that away, when it can be put to a good cause.

Shawnessy Payne
Rush Springs Cemetery
I am looking for some help in locating some grave site in the Rush Springs Cemetery. I have tried calling information to find a phone number for the cemetery, but I was told there is no listing for this cemetery. I am trying to find my great grandmother and grandfather's graves. I have newspaper clippings from their obituraries and old photographs of their headstones which are very hard to read. Their names have been entered in the Rush Springs Cemetery site of by another family member and some of the information may have been entered incorrectly. The names of my great granfather's stone is LL Lancaster and my great grandmother's is Mattie Lancaster, her maiden name was Bowen. I live in CA so it makes it very difficult for me to find this information. I would really appreciate any help, because I am running into walls.
Thank you,

Albert D. King grave in Union Soldier's Cemetery
I saw your posting of Albert D. King's grave in the Union Soldier's Cemetery and was wondering if you are related to him? I am trying to research him as he was married to my ggg-Aunt Malona "Lona" V. (Lewis) King who died in 1879 in Wisconsin. After her death Albert moved to Oklahoma, but I'm trying to find more info. If you are related, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind regards,

Hi Barry
I added flowers to the memorial page of Marie Josephine Birdwell Andrus in Arlington National Cememtery and noticed that the dates you have 1805-1943 (138 years) must be entered wrong. Could you please change the birth year? Her husband was born in 1851 if that helps. Thanks Lill
