Hi There,
Why is it that Ancestry.Com is allowing their members to use the pictures that we take or put on our family memorials on their site without our permission? I thought these pictures where copyrighted on findagrave and where there for safe keepings. I can see the use for personal use but not for a well know site such as Ancestry.Com that makes money from all the members on Findagrave. This will discourage many from up loading pictures or making memorials on their families or helping out their communities.

Very disappointing that Findagrave is allowing contributors to steal contributions of other members.
I placed a memorial on Findagrave for a relative.
Another person took the info from an obit, posted a duplicate entry, the day after mine and then accused mine of being a duplicate. Mine was then deleted ( called it merging, but all my info was taken out!!!)
How disrespectful to my relative, family, and the genealogy community.
How awful that you would allow this type of thing to happen.

The photo of the stone looks like there are several persons buried, so I went to CA Death Index and it has 2 people-Vera Leahy and Regina Marie Leahy BUT, they have the exact same dates, ss#, everything is the same!!
I am looking foe Sister Regina Marie Leahy, Convent of the Holy Names in SF.
Any suggestions at all I'd be very grateful for.
