Why was the member I reported that was inactive memorials not tranfered to me as I requested. As a member of the Bolin Family here in Perry County, these are all Bolin Family members. As I stated I would manage the memorial, make correction and connections and I would also gladly transfer. I don't want to keep them just manage them for our family. May I ask where did they all go. I put in transfers for the requested 5 I am allowed, but still have not received them as of today. How often can I make requests. I had to send a private email to Find A Grave because my computer will not send from the members site. I also sent some fron the non active members page. I have been adding cememteries and makeing transfers when requested for over a year. I gladly help fellow researchers find their family. I would think that beings I reported a non active member, that my request would be granted.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful family story. I grew up in the East Bay Area (Livermore, Pleasanton, San Pablo, Richmond, Oakland, and Alameda). I worked in Emeryville, and after marriage, we lived in Hayward. The people I met during my early life in the East Bay Area were good folks and hard workers, and the weather in my memory was as good as it gets!! (The weather here in the Central San Joaquin Valley...not so much.) Anyway, just wanted to say I love your family story and THANK YOU for all the hard work you do on Find-A-Grave..Wow!

Sorry you've been bothered with this. I came across this person's grandmother doing a cemetery search. She had her listed 3 times - same cemetery. It seems she thinks she should create a new memorial every time she has new info to add. I was nice in my SAC. I really was. I don't think she understands the rules or how this site works. Maybe you or one of the other admins could explain it to her?

I am from Cumming, Geogia and I just signed up to get photos of the cemetery in my home town, Bay Springs, Mississippi. I only go back there about four times each year since it is about 7 hours away.
I am getting flooded with request for pictures in other counties in Mississippi. I may be able to cover some of the other cemeteries in Jasper County, but not the other counties. Can you tell me how to correct this situation? Thanks...

Thank you so much for posting the memorial to Miller Boatwright. He was a co-worker of mine many years ago when I worked at Macy's in the Stanford Shopping Center. I was shocked to discover that he was one of the victims of the Jonestown massacre--he'd lived such a virtuous, Christian life--but then again he was exactly the kind of good, well-meaning person that Jim Jones preyed on.
