Woolfolk Graves
Pamela, you had contacted me on my wall a while back about finding the Woolfolk graves. I was just wondering if you had any luck finding them in Rose Hill?

Thanks!
Jess

RE: William Walters
Hi!:o)

No additional info on my part... happy hunter..the creator might.

But my experience, go to cemetery office on grounds & ask them to look him up in records to find him. They have interment files & family owned/purchased lots/plots records with the location. If they have these will u get a copy (camera or Xerox whatever works or they'll allow)? I really haven't had any success finding anything on him and this info from their files potentially could be gold. (If their filled out).

Also could u ask for information on who was left responsible for the plot? ... it usually is like a next of kin type of contact. This would help me in determining if he was still married at his death or had children.. or somekind of family connection which I have nothing but his wife freelove right now.

Thanks a bundle, let me know if I can help by maybe calling the office. I'll look around online for the #.

RE: Greek Cemetery
Hi Pamela, if you make a right onto Cunnington (if your coming from downtown) and a left at the first left, called Skurvin the cemetery will be on your left about 200 feet from Cunnington. In case you didn't know Cunnington is the street that lead directly into the driveway of Magnolia cemetery. Good luck! Let me know if these directions aren't good enough and I'll try again.

RE: Faith Baptist Church Cemetery
It is no where near Jedburg if you ask me. It is in Summerville. I was coming from Hanahan and took 17-A. Where 17-A forks you will take the right fork and the name of the street changes to "Tupperway", once you get past Orangeburg road the name changes again to "Embassy street". It makes me crazy when streets do that.. Anyway, where Embassy ends you would have to turn right or left on "Central" but the street right before you get to Central on the right is Faith Lane. If you get to Central you have gone too far. Faith Lane is a short street with Faith Baptist Church and cemetary at the end of it. If you can't find it let me know and I wil try again to explain it. It really is not hard to find, just hard to describe how to get there.
I need to take one more picture there. After I left I found out that two more relatives are buried there and their names are scratched on the side wall that markse off the plot where the others are. When you could not afford a head stone I guess scratching in the cement was better than nothing. Good luch, Pamela

That property is owned by the Dennis's. They live there and another Find A Grave member was in contact with them a few months ago, he was told that the cemetery is there but it would take some clearing to get to it. Maybe you could contact them and see if it has been done yet. With the winter upon us, that maybe possible. Let me know if you have any luck. Have a great day! Mary

Pamela,

I can not THANK YOU enough for finding my Great Grandparents headstone. And you actually gave me a bonus photo too. Right next to their headstone is the the Mount's (Robert & Maggie Mount) if I am correct in my family tree - Robert is my Great Grand uncle.

Again, Thank you so very very much!!!
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.

Pamela, Thank you so much for the photos you added to this cemetery. I'm related to at least half the people buried there. This is a great help to me.
