RE: Dunstons in Wellston Cem.
Thanks, Walter. I'm going to be in Lincoln Co. this coming week, and since I need to visit the cemetery anyway I'd like to visit the crave. Could please tell me in what part of the cemetery it's located? I recall it's a big cemetery. Many thanks!

Walter, I've transferred Frances to you as I'm not related. It's always nice when family can take over. Bev

willard settles
Hi my name is Katlynn Lang and I noticed you posted a picture of my Great Grandfathers grave stone. Its willard settles in west virginia. I was wondering if you had information on him. I have been trying to trace that line of my family and cannot even find his parents. Thank you!

Yup, you are very welcome. Some people are hard to find. Now you know for sure where not to look. That helps.

Dunstons in Wellston Cem.
Hi Walter

I'm impressed to see that, if photos don't lie, the monument for Louisa Dunham, the President's g-g-g grandmother, is still standing tall and undisturbed. I'm surprised some of the local rowdies haven't taken it down. (I'm from Chandler.) Do you know if the Wellston police department is making special patrols to make sure that doesn't happen?

Best regards,

Wayne Pounds

You're welcome. It was a little hard to find because the name of the cemetery isn't Augsburg, but it is in Augsburg. Luckily, I trusted my husband's judgement and found it!

Not a problem - be glad to check and see what records there are at the library next time I'm in town.

Have a good one...
