Sorry to be so long in replying. the Cemetery is located at Buckhorn, Kentucky just below the Buckhorn dam. From highway 15 take highway 28 through Chavies, Kentucky and continue on highway 28 until you come to buckhorn. from highway 15 to Chavies is about 6 miles and from this point to Buckhorn is another 13 miles. when you pass Buckhorn high school you will see Sparks Store, at this point you need to turn left across the bridge and go about 1/2 mile and take the right on Laurel Point Land and a short drive up the hill will bring you to the cemetery. Hope this helps you out.

I'm trying to help a lady that has set up a memorial for a distant cousin of mine and is trying to get a FAME rating on the memorial. If you could take just a minute and go to her memorial and cast your vote on the bar at the bottom of the meorial I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for the photographs you took of the cemetery. It is sad to see any cemetery, especially one that has known veterans of the War of 1812 and the American Revolution, in such poor condition.
I hope you are able, over time, to photograph every marker there. You are welcome to chalk the markers of my Julian and Clarke ancestors buried there in order to be able to read the inscriptions.
Thanks for trying to preserve their memory and service to our country.

|Barry ||RE: Elizabeth Daily Cemetery|
The Cemetery is on private property and it is not easy to get there, also the Owner does not like to allow people go over there but if You are Family He is More likely to allow You in because He is required by law.
The history of this cemetery has been overshadowed by a Girl Named Leah Smock who has been called a witch. You can type Her name in on the internet to learn more about Her.
The only thing I know about the cemetery is that it is an old Family cemetery that was created on the family farm.
I don't know if I have answered Your question
if not send me what You would like to know.

Lookup anne vannatta, there is a document that tells how to get there. Yes, I am related to the vannatta's thru the Doyle family.
Would be a good project for scouts or explorer scouts to get this cemetery cleaned up .

It's on the Paul Schmidt farm near Hempridge, directions are on the Vannatta Cemetery site. Sounds like it is in disrapair and needs cleaning up. Such a shame to let cemeteries like this go.

Question..there is a 3rd photo for a Walter 1906-1979 posted on his memorial Peter J Quesinberry . Is this a Q or just a close shot of the marker with Quesinberry on it and picked up another headstone??
Thanks so much for your time and efforts for many of us.

Do you know where Slab Camp Creek Road is? I'm a North Carolinian with two great great grandparents of mine buried in a cemetery in the Jones Ridge Road area. Could you take two pictures of these ancestors of mine? I'd be happy to look up something for you down here if you need it! Let me know if you know someone that could help me, if you can't.
Thanks so much!!

|Forget Me Not||Marker for Gerry Eads|
We also called the funeral home in order to locate the tombstone and they confirmed there was only a temp. marker. It is now gone. If you wish to put a permanent headstone up please contact Parrish Funeral Home for the exact plot number. The person that we spoke with remembered Gerry.

|Tracy Nicholas||RE: Your Welcome|
I just started volunteering here myself too ! I don't know why I didn't think of doing it sooner. I guess it is one of the easier and honorable ways to help others looking for info and wanting to remember their loved ones. I am glad to do it.

Thank you so much for the photos of my ggg-grandfather & grandmother Milton & Corilla Arnold as well as my gggg-grandmother Ann Arnold. The one of Ann is a turning point of information. Her birthdate has been a shroud of mystery to me. It is reported several ways on census' so this is exciting. Again thank you, thank you, thank you.
