The cemetery is named Cheny Cemetery. I just discovered tonight that my great grand mother is buried there. I grew up 10 miles from it and never knew. Will be driving up soon.

No need for transfer. Roy is a first cousin, 2 times removed. I sent you links for his parents, Louis and Viola, through the new editing system. I would appreciate if you would approve those connections. I feel it is so important to link veterans to their families. Thanks for all your work on Findagrave!!!

Find A Grave Memorial# 3207298
Thanks for taking such care to photograph this monument. His stepson, Robert Maxey, is buried at West Point and I was trying to link his family. Milton and his wife were married after 1880 and Milton dies before the 1900 census. Your photograph of the monument with the names of his family members was quite helpful as Lieut. Colonel Maxey's obituary only had the married names of his three sisters. Thanks for being a diligent photographer.

Thank you for making these memorials and transferring them. They are in good hands. I will eventually get the obituaries for my relatives and and have already linked them up to their other kin. If you have any cool stories you would like to relate about Ira, I would love to hear them.

She was a cousin of my grandfather but I am still working and don't really have time to "manage" them. I just wish I could find the grave of James Barker, her father. He may be buried in Pine Grove Cemetery but with no marker.

I have used welding rods and found up to 27 unmarked graves. and have tried out the system on graves that are marked and have found out they will give you wether it is male or female. swing left or right ,but will have to see which is which

Hello, Im so thankful you did this! Thank you! I was able to locate my grandmothers family! They are the all the Luttrells, Hanley, Jessie Strange. She will be 90 in September. Brought tears of sadness and joy to see and remember for her. Now I have a question, her father is buried there, only a simple cross with a plastic cover for a paper as name plate. He died in 1937. I was wondering if you knew who owns/takes care of/who I need to get in touch with about this. I had a grave marker made for my great grandfather and plan to go there possible tomorrow(we live about two hours away)
Ive contacted so many people around that area and no one seems to know anything about it. Hoping you may be able. Thanks for any information.

William, the photo you have uploaded to the memorial of Dawn Ryder, Memory Lawn Cemetery, Natchitoches, La Find A Grave Memorial# 38487471 should be for the memorial of Joyce D Ryder Find A Grave Memorial# 132912979. They may have got mixed up when Find A Grave was having problems. I thought you would like to upload to the correct memorial. Thanks Pat
