RE: Hinkle
Hi, thank you. a small world huh? I remember going to the Blake cemt. once but it was before the 60's.But I do remember Charlie McClanahan and my Dad talking about him, they visited back a forth alot and my Dad was quite fond of him. He came often to see us, was a sweet man and fun to be around, he kept us kids entertained. Is he your name sake? I remember visiting the Hinkle family(I can't remember exactly where they lived , but think it was Cross Plains) , they had just bought a brand new Dodge, I believe 57, and their teenage daughter had a wreck and she died, I think her name was Juanita, not sure. Betty was my age and we were pals. Just wonder if Betty is still around, she would be my age (70)and would love to find her.
How sweet of you to send me the info.My regular email is susanna_clark@hotmail.com and would love to here more. Yes I am on Ancestry too. and it is a work in progress. Please stay in touch. All my family are gone except my Sis(NMex)and she does visit, do stay in touch with her daughter though.
Take care and nice chatting with you.

Hinkle
Hi, I remember Charlie Hinkle, did he have a daughter that was killed in a car accident?
Nettie Russel was my grandmother and of course her parents were greatgrandparents. we may be distance related.

Marilyn Smith
Spiva (Spivey) Smith
was the brother of my husband's GGrandfather Nathaniel Smith I am looking for descendants of Nathaniel and brother Spiva (Spivey) Smith. Nathaniel was married to Eve Metts b:31 Oct 1808 (the twin to Adam Metts). They had three children: John M Smith b: 15 Aug 1829 d: 01 May 1901, Elizabeth A Smith b: 24 Sep 1833 d: 1923, and her twin Littleton Spivey Smith b: 24 Sep 1833 d: 10 Jun 1887. We know that John Metts applied for letters of admin. 16 Dec 1833 upon the death of Nathniel Smith and a "crying sale" was held to pay the debts....I have a copy of the document in detail. We know nothing about his or Spiva (Spivey) Smith's parents or lineage. Hoping someone related to this Smith family will respond. Marilyn Smith ...mnsmith@hcecwildblue.com

RE: Lucille Kenyon
I wish she had a personal marker. She is next to two other Kenyon's and I put them too.
