|Diane & John||Re: Ethel Pearl Isaacks Jordan|
I got the spelling for Croon & Isacks from her birth certificate and used that instead. But I've changed both to reflect what you sent.
There is a Pvt Henry Isaacks, #13145687, buried in South Lawn Memorial in Tucson with the right birth year. Do you suppose that's Ethel's father?
Thanks for sending the Mom's name.

My pleasure in adding the obit. It was on a page I printed from the paper while doing my research so I figured it may help someone down the road if I posted it.

Carol, I have transferred the Weldon's to your care and management. That seems best to have them with a family member. Melanie

|Ann||Isaacks at Evergreen|
Hi Carol, I have added all the information you sent through for the Isaacks family buried at Evergreen Cemetery. Thanks for providing just detailed information. I agree with you that based on the fact that the family was living at the powerhouse 2 community at the time of the dam break they most likely perished in Los Angeles County.
I have copies of several of the death certificates. Please let me know if you would like me to send them to you.

|Squeak||re: Ida May Lupton|
Hi there -
I was fulfilling a couple of photo requests for a person named fillmore (findagrave name) for Louis Edward Lupton and Marcus Leslie Lupton. I have uncovered a few things by looking at cemetery records that you may want to know. And no, I am not related - I am just a photo volunteer.
There are FOUR Luptons that do not have a burial plot listed, but are listed on the cemetery records. I have not yet entered these people in the system since I have no real photo of a plot or stone for them. If you like, I can enter them in, but wanted to give you the option first. Ida May is one of them with no plot listed. These are the other three:
* J.S. Lupton - died 5.31.1884, female, aged 68 years, 4 months
* J.M. Lupton - died 9.29.1884, male, aged 39 years
* John Lupton - died 10.20.1884 in Willows, California, male, aged 44 years
If you look at that last name, it makes me think that Ida May is actually the daughter of JOHN. I am basing this on his age and that he died almost exactly one year AFTER Ida and they BOTH died in Willows, California, which is quite far from San Jose or Santa Clara, California.
There was also a listing on cemetery records for Charlotte "Lottie" Lupton and Infant (son) of George Lupton and N.J. Because both of them are listed as being buried in Block 18, Lot 1, I went ahead and entered them into findagrave. The fillmore person had questioned if there might be a Charlotte buried there as well, so I will let them know she did exist in that plot. I also connected this infant to George W Lupton's memorial in England, since he is the father. Hope I didn't open a can of worms with that one though because his wife died in 1903 and this infant died in October 1905 and he died back in England in 1906.
Sorry to put all of this on your wall, but you don't have an email listed, so I apologize.

|Family Seeker||Your photo of Martha C. Gray Giles Ball....|
Hello again, Ms. Weldon!
In January you kindly granted me permission to use the photo you submitted of my great grandfather, Sidney Edgar Giles.
I see that you also have the photo of his mother with her second husband, William Ball. I have this photo already in my Ancestry tree.
Could it be that you are also a descendant of Martha Gray Giles Ball? I have wondered greatly about her and any family stories about her!
I appreciate all you are doing to preserve memories of loved ones.

|Mac in Sac.||Louis and Amelia Callisch|
Carol. I just wanted to let you know that I posted newspaper clippings and a photo of the headstone for Louis and Amelia Callisch on their memorial pages.
The Sacramento City Cemetery index and the newspaper articles state that Louis was 90 years old when he died, so that would put his date of birth at around 1808.
