Great, glad I could help. I already sent an edit request for the name change.

|Kevin Finch||Martin Wick|
I claimed your request for Martin.
After getting ahold of my contact at the cemetery, I was told they don't have a Wick, but instead a Martin Wiek, with he same birth and death dates. I believe this is the guy, but whoever created his memorial misspelled the last name.
If you feel this is not him, let me know.

|Brenda Hoopes Shipley||Marica L. Kelsay|
I have a copy of the Thurman Cemetery in Iowa up to March 10, 1997. I put all the names into Find A Grave if they were not already in there. I put Duane Leon, Faye V., Glen William, Marica L., and William John Kelsay in. The rest of the Kelsay names were added by someone else.
I did go back into the Thurman Cemetery book and checked on Marcia L. Kelsay. The record does say she was born on 26 Dec 1925 and died 5 June 1978.
I am not sure if Marica L. and Marvin Leon Kelsay are twins. I am not related to this family. If they are twins it seems rather odd that they would also have the same death date. But I guess it is possible.

I found a marker for Simmie Inez South in the Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery in the niche area, Addition 12. I added the photo to your memorial but could you edit the burial info?

I planned to go to section 16 today and saw your request before I left. It also happened to be in section 16 and it appeared to not be too far from the one I was going for. I'm glad I checked - it was exactly to the right of the one I was fulfilling. They wanted to be found. Happy Hunting!

Thank you so much for adding the photo of the Atwell stone. I will have to do some research on the words and symbols which I find mysterious. Jeanette

|JustNancy||Sippel @ Fort Langley Cemetery|
I have been working on photographing the cemetery at Fort Langley. The past two Saturdays I searched the cemetery for Hannah and Albert Sippel with no luck. I checked the BC archives and confirmed that they are both buried at the cemetery.
It is possible that they either don't have a grave stone marker or it is illegible. I don't live in Fort Langley so can only get there on the weekends. I did try phoning the number listed for them, but that is now a private residential number.
I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks as I continue to photograph the stones that I will have luck in finding there stone.
I didn't claim them in case someone else might be able to find the location. I will let you know how I make out. Nancy

|mshunter||RE: Aaron Dalton Reed|
Again, thank you for the transfer of Aaron Reed's memorial. The photo you did was very well done. I also take photos of military stones at one of our local cemeteries to either post them to existing memorial or establishing new ones when there is none. Those who have served our county should never be forgotten.

I wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten your request for James Ruddell. The Santa Clara Mission Cemetery is a private cemetery owned by the University and thus on the same holiday schedule; so, they have been closed for the Thanksgiving holiday since last Tues. and will re-open on Mon. 12/2, when I'll then be able to get a photo. I would like to help you with this but the rose hill cemetery here in okc is not very helpful nor do they have good maintance or grave markers to tell you where ur at. I went to ask them if he's buried here and they said it would cost me 5$ for that info. that their services is for family only and they had to call in to get the info. when i asked for maps of the cemetery so i can find where things are they said tell the family to request the map for the info on which they are inquiring. There phone number is 405-843-5771 or fax number 405-843-5754. Please let me know if I can help in anyway. I dont have my volunteering status turned on cause there are some doing rose hill that have said i dont take professional photos and they dont want to see it on their memorials. so I do try and help but i email the headstones by request.

The road is still closed off and it's quite a walk to get to this section. They don't seem to be in any hurry to finish this section and I haven't seen any sign of grass. The headstones are clean, just no grass, so I uploaded a photo. Let me know if you'd rather wait until the place the grass.
