Dear Earleen,

My name is Valerie. Here is my line: me-Dad-Irene Sutton-John B Sutton-Ann Elizabeth Baker-George Baker1810-Hepzibah Turley-Giles Turley.

You are right about genealogy being like a puzzle and it's so addictive; a good addiction.

Nice to meet you!

Valerie

Joya Trevisano
Roy C Whitworth
Hello, my name is Joya Trevisano and I am the only granddaughter of Roy and Millie Whitworth. My mother Coeta Re-Va (Whitworth)Capriglione was the only child born to them. I would love to find out more about my grandparents as I was under the impression my grandfather was adopted and split from his siblings. I remember Martha, Dewey and Allie. I did know of another and can't remember his name. I do know he had a son Johnny that lived in Alaska. If you would like to get in touch with me I would enjoy speaking with you about this.

Thanks,
Joya Trevisano

Rebecca - 2nd note
Well I meant to add 1860 info to Rebecca, forgetting that I wasn't her manager. So, go to John Q. A. Capps, Find A Grave 23862068 to see the findings. Shouldn't do this kind of work without coffee. Sorry. Grace

Just found Rebecca, and her son John Q.A., on the 1860 census, and placed the information on her memorial and on John's. Grace

RE: Millie Whitworth!
The online obits only go back to Feb 1988. No way to access Roys unless going to the library and micro film searching.

Pete Brown
William Brown 1818 KY
Hi, My name is Elliott Brown, gr gr grandson of William Brown 1818 KY. Just came across your listing of Micajah Brown as William's father. We had thought his father was also a William. Do you have or know of documentation referencing Micajah and Chatherine McDowell? In particular the Indian reference? This is a great find for us - we've been looking for Willaim's father for a long time. Based on your information we also came across Rev. War land grant info for Micajah Brown, David and John Jr. McDowell. Are you aware of any of that?

Thanks....Elliott Brown

KatieG
Hello :)
Hi, I have been introduced to your family while researching my own. You seem like you love them very much and it warmed my heart to see. Isn't it a comfort that we will get to be with our lost loved ones again? and meet the ones we never knew? That's so awesome to think about! So, technically, I am part of your family. But distantly, and by marriage, not blood. But family is family right? So, think of Rachael Ann Whitworth. Then go to her daughter Lettie Davis. Then her daughter Vida Friend. She became "Friend" because she married Jesse Boyd Friend. That is the point that my family joins yours. Boyd Friend is my great great uncle. So, i'm pretty distantly related, but i just thought I would share. God bless!

RE: Davis Photo
Earleen
I understand the feeling. We retired in June & moved from wild & wonderful West Virginia to Kansas. We have been in the ministry for over 40 years and we ended up taking axweekend church in a small town near here. I am teaching two Bible studies too so God has wonderful plans for us retirees if we want to serve.
Take care
Jeri

Janie I. Luster
Walter Finley Davis, Goodhope Cemetery
Hi Earleen,
Remember me from way back? Anyway I would like to see if you'll add Walter Finley Davis #28394146 at the Goodhope Cemetery, Goodhope Missouri site and connect him with his parents;

Jesse Richard Davis #61381830
and
Mary James McClain Davis #61381951 who are buried at same cemetery.
You might want to double check on the picture you have at Walter's site of him holding one arm behind his back. This is not Walter but Ephraim Davis, a younger brother.

I am trying to get all the siblings connected together.
Thank you for your help.

Bill Vanderpool
Pheaby Vanderpool
I linked her to her parents and typed out the obit if you want to delete the picture you posted of it.

What was the date of the obit and the newspaper it was in?

I also put on her Missouri Death Certificate. But it brings up a question about her year of birth. To be 80 years old on 4 Apr 1935, she would have to have been born in 1854.

Is she a relative?

Bill

Marissa F.
John Hardwick
Earleen,

You previously sent me a photo of John Hardwick. I was under the impression that this was my grandfather John Elbert Hardwick that married Dora Roach. You have his photo posted to a John Hardwick in Oak Hill Cemetery, in Phillips Co. Ar. The John Elbert that I am descended from seems to be buried in Spring Hill Cemetery in Logan County, AR. This John in Logan County is on findagrave as "J.E. Hardwick".

Can you confirm if the photo is for the "J.E Hardwick" in the Logan County cemetery?

If so, maybe the photo can be removed from John Hardwick in Oak Hill.

Any clarification is appreciated.

RE: Hazelet/Duckworth
You are more than welcome, I always enjoy photographing other Find A Grave members requests, because as I read their bio s, I learn a little more of our great history.

Are you the one searching for Erasmus & Elizabeth Hensley, by chance? If so, I have the plots #'s, but have not located the gravesites yet, even after two attempts this weekend. If you requested them, I will find them, eventually.

Glad to have been of some help,
