RE: Byerly graves at Brookville Cemetery
Hi Andy, I am pretty sure we are not related. I photographed your families tombstones last year when I was visiting Brookville Cemetery for my relations that are there. I make a memorial for any that I photograph. Also I try to care for any memorials I create as I would if they were my own family. I try to add whatever I can to each one. That way if or when their family is looking for them or trying to connect them then they can. I believe everyone deserves to be remembered. If you would like me to transfer your relations to your care I can. If not that is ok too, I will continue to care for them the best I can. Also if you would just prefer for me to add or change something please let me know. Thanks, EK :)

RE: Jesse B. Shrauger
Hi Andy, Jesse, Jacob and Francis were by each other, if she is there I never saw a stone. Could she be buried somewhere with a child, or remarried? The ones that were listed in the cemetery book, but not recently up-dated, are all listed in the cemetery I think. Or she may not have a stone. :( Luella

Dear Andy,
Thank you so much for the great photo & info on John and Rose Fox (my grandparents). I just saw the link on Ancestry. You did a great job with the photo & giving a lot of data on them & Grandma's siblings. I haven't done real research writing away for records yet - only stuff on Ancestry. Thanks again. Roberta Fox

I had to go back through the area so I stopped and photographed the Mattson headstones for you. I also found a marriage license for Nona showing her marriage to a John William Mattson, so now I'm not sure that Carl was her husband. But, not being familiar with the family, I have no idea. But, the photos are there.

You're very welcome. There is a stone for Carl. At the time I was focused more on the Freeman's but if you submit a request for him, I'd be more than happy to get his the next time I'm down that way unless someone gets it sooner.

RE: Alice Starr Dickerson
You're very welcome. Are you related? I had looked for her with the husband mentioned in the obituary, because we had a section and lot for him. Interesting that she is not buried in that plot, but I found her with the Starr family.

You are quite welcome! I've photoed the whole cemetery there and am trying to get them uploaded. Will have to go back for a few stones that didn't photograph well.

RE: Snyder plot in Lakeside Cemetery
There is a Fannie Snyder (1895-1922) buried at Lakeside Cemetery that I have a photo of. That is the one you are looking for.

There is also a George Snyder (1859-1935) that I do not have the photo of.

I am not sure when I could get out to photo in the near future due to health problems, but if you would make the request for Fannie I will fill it.

RE: Carney Farm
I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. Thank you for working on this in the midst of your grief.
Thank you so much for this map! I found C Basim on the map. Calvin Basim's father, Abraham, married the Carney daughter, Christena. (They are all buried at Asbury). Calvin lost a leg in the Civl War, and returned home to farm. I believe Abraham had property adjoining his father-in-law. Calvin's land could be either of those, or even a combination. It looks to be near the intersection of Carney Rd and Maple Grove Rd.
Also on the map are RR Ion (just south of Asbury church). His father donated the land for Asbury. He married Abraham and Christena's oldest daughter, Mary Catherine. North of Calvin's property, on 7 Hills Rd and Fair Haven Rd, is that of W H Spangler. He married the third Basim daughter, Margaret. I see a school house to the right of his property. There had been a school house on the Carney property (called Carney School). Maybe the Carney property is up there, and Calvin's is Abraham's land.
Lots of speculation, but this map is really helpful!
