Commodore Barney Purnell
Do you know anything more about Commodore than what you have posted in his bio? I am looking for a Commodore Purnell from KY that would have died about the same time.

RE: Sue Dunham McConnell & Maguerite Dunham Bell
Sorry Chris I am not related to either lady. If I posted a memorial for them it is because I volunteer taking photos of headstones and post to Find A Grave.

William Henry Wykle unmarked grave
Hello, My son (JGBC)and I photographed the location of William Henry Wykle's grave. The cemetery told us that his grave was the second grave over from the marked grave on the right so we've indicated the location with the white lines.
Have a great day.

RE: Glen Dale McGinnis
Yes, he had two daughters from 1st marriage, Pauline is still living in Ozark Co. Mo. I haven't seen her in years tho. And no they did not have any children together, and as far as I know, Pauline never had any children before they married. I do not remember anything on the back of the stone, except maybe a musical instrument, as they where big into playing music.

Regard,
Jaynie

The next time I am at the Cemetery, I will check the back of the stone, may I ask if you have a connection to Glen Dale or his wife Pauline. I've known him most of my life. He was married to my 1st cousin.

Regards,
Jaynie

RE: Martha Jeanette Smith Brown
Martha and her husband Joseph Cincinnati Brown are both buried in the Palestine Cemetery in Hohenwald, Lewis co, TN, memorial #s 100234515 and 100234588. She did indeed die in childbirth on 5/13/1879. The only info I have is 'infant brown' with dates of B: 5/13/1879, and D: 5/13/1879.

Joseph (1860-1887) then married Artemius Albertine 'Alberta' Smith, Martha's sister in 1881.

I will send my spreadsheet data on this part of the family to your email address.

RE: Wallace Lyman Jones
Hi. I don't know much about Wallace. He was one if the brothers that seemed to disappear from my grandparents knowledge. However, I did find him about a year ago and not far away in Black River Falls (which was near my great grandmother Esther Jones Johnson) and learned a little bit. Wallace would have been her Uncle. I would be glad to try to learn more. What I think I know about him is pretty much he married at least twice to Emma Dutter (another Hamlin twshp girl, many of my ancestors lived there near Dtrum/Eleva, WI) they had three children, divorced and he remarried a Florence. There were two Florence's in that area that seemed to be a possibility and I was not able to determine which one was correct Florence, so I kind of stopped researching there.

Maybe there was an Esther related, there could be. What information do you have? Anything linking to Wallace Lyman? I'd be glad to share. I have been hoping someone who knew him or a descendant could fill in some blanks. My grandmother Delores Holte Berg is still alive and enjoys my learning about the Jones family.

No I am not related. I live near Mount Zion and have family buried there and just decided to do some research about the people buried there and get them on Find A Grave and linked with family as much as I could.

RE: Magnolia Park Cemetery
The website does not contain much information prior to the takeover of the OC cemetery district- their records seem to only contain the owner of the plot and not spouses- so contacting the office should get you more burial information - phone # is (714)539-1771.
The local paper would be the Orange County Register.

Hi Chris!
How great of you to contact me! John & Minerva are my 2nd great-grandparents so we are cousins! Nice to "meet" you! Other than a few dates and cemetery info my grandma left on a note card, I have very little info on them. I have found some records on Ancestry but still have a lot of gaps. I would be so grateful to receive any information you have and if I have any information you don't, I will pass it along to you. You can contact me via email posted on my Find-A-Grave contact info. Thank you!
Regards,
Kyleen "King" Z.

RE: U.B. Cemetery
Chris: Sure wish I could help you. In all my SNEDEGAR records, I have no Abigail. All I can suggest is contacting the Jackson County Genealogy Society. They have a very active one and have copied area cemeteries. I think that would be your best bet. I believe they have a web site and a fantastic newsletter in case you would want to post a query.
