RE: james N lawhun
I am sorry I don't have additional information. I like taking pictures of tombstones. If there is no memorial to post the picture on, I create one.

Hi Jeannie,
Where did you get the death date and story about her death? Also the exact death date? Do you have a copy of her death certificate? Have you gone to the cemetery?

I am a direct descendent of Charles E. Fallis. I have a picture of him in 1868, and one of his wife in 1896 if you are interested.

RE: Charles E Fallis
Jeannie, my pleasure. Many of the graves in this sectio of Evergreen are similar - a concrete curbing type of border with a cast concrete headstone. As you can tell they don't weather well. To the left of Mr. Fallis is an R. Mason, and to the right is an L. Supple.

Jeanie -

I remember my mom and grandma speaking of Goldie often.

I remember that my grandpa would spend a lot of time fishing in Coldwater, MI with Hiram and his wife.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet a lot of the Roberts family members. I think it would have been great to get to know more family members as I was growing up.

I do have a few pictures of my grandpa if you would like copies.

My email address is

Thank you very much.

Jeannie I have a copy of the newspaper article on Hiram's death, said he was instantly killed by lightning and it had the date as 7 Aug 1930.

Thank you
I found the pictures you posted for Nora Lawhun Roberts. She was my great grandmother. My grandfather was Ollie Roberts, one of her children from her marriage to Hiram. These were the first pictures I had ever seen of her.

Do you have any other pictures that you would be willing to share?

I can be reached via gmail at vkwigton@gmail.

Thank you,

Vicki Wigton,

Tombstone Girl
James Roberts
Could James' middle name have been Americus, that is the name on the headstone with Nora. I can add a picture if the name is correct.

I have his name in my family tree, but apparently did not record his grave when I visited Goddard Cemetery. When I go back I will look. You can see my family info at
