|Joe B.||Catherine/Katherine McDermid|
You are welcome, sometimes it just takes someone with no connection to a memorial. Banged my head on some of my memorials too. Good luck with the Catherine vs Katherine on census reports, don't think spelling was crucial.

the problem might be where I got it. I have a old scrapbook and it was a article that was cut out but no reference to what newspaper it came from. The scrapbook is probably newspaper articles from Kalamazoo newspaper but I am not sure. I can email the picture to you but get your tissue ready. It is totally a tear jerker.

|Gina Florentine||RE: Ellen Mary Deshayes|
Sorry for the late response. I'm not family to the Deshayes, just a simple photo volunteer. I don't have any other information on this family, but I hope you can find someone who helps solve this mystery. I am curious myself about this.

Oh, thank you for your note - and thank you for catching that date error! It was totally my fault - a typing error on my part :) Yes, 1875 is the correct date!
Thank you so much, Rachel ~ and, have a wonderful day!

|Valarie Vine||Leland A. Peek (Sacramento City Cemetery)|
I just added a memorial today for Leland A. Peek at Sacramento City Cemetery (he is in the large military section there). Then came across the one you added. I will be happy to delete mine if you'd like to change the location of the burial, or I could transfer the one I created. Your call. Thanks, Valarie

I just saw a post of yours about the upkeep of John and Agnes Stoops graves and am glad to know that my 3rd great grandfather is still being honored for his service. I stopped by for a visit on my way out of the cities on Monday and was sorry I couldn't have been there on memorial day, so thanks for the update. :)

|Barb in Minnesota||RE: Lisbon Cemetery Cover Photo|
Hey Rachel...thanks for the note. I see all the memorials you have added. You've really been busy. When I'm on an ancestor hunt, I normally take a photo of the cemetery gate/sign and a few markers around my ancestor to post on Find A Grave if not already there. That's how the Lisbon Cemetery photo got taken. But I never did find my guy in the cemetery. I've made some wonderful connection via Find A Grave. It's a great site.

|Nancy Hoffman||Aschsah Morris|
I just wanted to thank you for all the trouble you went to looking for Aschsah's gravestone. Your assistance went far beyond what I expected and is greatly appreciated!
Could you tell me who I could write to to get a copy of the buriel records for Aschsah and John Morris? I'm trying to track down possible relatives for my family geneology.
Again, thank you so much!
