James & Margaret Morrow
Thank you very much for providing information for James & Margaret Morrow who are buried in Brick Cemetery, Mercer County, Illinois. I just happened to notice the flowers a little bit ago and added all the given information to their memorials. I had been unable to read the stones while I was there, so this was a great surprise. If you're interested in transfers please let me know, as I'd be happy to. Thank you. -E.M.

RE: Center Presby Cemetery
First, let me apologize for spelling your name wrong, it didn't look right when I typed it but I was too lazy to look it up!

I just wanted to let you know I found the wife of Richard Jones in my files. I'll send you a private email about her since she's probably still living. As for the Skiles children, I'd love those! They are the brother and sister of my g-g-grandfather, James H. Skiles. Interesting that Nancy died in 1848. I found her in the 1850 census, so unless they had two daughters named Nancy, someone gave incorrect info to the census taker!

Hi Betty
I am way behind on doing corrections. I just misread a message from Find a Grave about a transfer you made to me. I thought you were asking to have it transferred to you!

If you want me to give it back, that's fine with me, but I'm not sure who Richard Jones is! See http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=57736687

Thanks, sorry for being stupid ;)

RE: John Todd
Can you send me John's brother Joseph's obit?

I spent the day getting this stuff organized. Here is the basic answer to your question:

John Arnold Todd and Isophem Bobbitt family:
Rebecca Todd b. abt 1862 in IN
Nancy Todd b. abt 1864 in IN
Mary Todd b. abt 1865 in IN
Gelman Todd b. abt 1867 in IN
John and Emma Todd family:
George W. Todd b. Jan 1874 in IN
Ida Bell Todd b. 28 Mar 1877 in IN
Harry Todd b. Mar 1878 in IN
Oscar E. Todd b. 29 Aug 1880 in OH
William Todd b. 16 July 1884 in OH
Harley Todd b. Feb 1890 in MO

Happy to share more with you if you email me. I have some pictures I can share with you.
My Grandfather JC Brown wrote down the information for me about his family on his mother's side Ida Bell Todd was his mother. Gelman's name is spelled all kinds of weird ways. Grandpa spelled it Gelman. He also listed another child Bell Todd from John and Emma. I do not know anything about this child. I do know the census said that Emma had 7 children and if you add Bell it would make 7 children. I had thought maybe Bell was a duplicate of Ida Bell but maybe not. I think Bell was a male. I asked a living relative who was in my Grandfather's generation and she didn't know who Bell was. I was fortunate enough to get to talk with her at length before she died. She shared pictures and stuff with me. I am happy to share what I have with you. : )
Hope this helps you.
Vicki

RE: John Todd
email me at dbishops@verizon.net. I have the info you need. I would love to exchange info with you. I have a picture of my Grandfather (JC Brown's Great Aunt Rebecca Scott, JC was John's great grandson). Rebecca Scott would be a daughter from the first wife Isophem Bobbitt. John can be found living with her father with his 3 children in Martin Co, IN. I will have to look up the year. I found Rebecca after John married Emma working as a servant for another family. Rebecca Todd Scott would be John's eldest daughter. He had a son by that marriage who had an odd name and is misspelled everywhere I believe who you think is Gilmore is Gelman or Gilman. If I am remembering correctly John had 4 children with Isophem. I will look it up if you email me I can send you the info you want.
So nice to meet you.

Yes, that is correct. How are you related to John? He was married to Isophem Bobbitt before he married Emma Anderson. Both marriages were in Martin Co, IN. Emma was my GGGrandmother.

I'm delighted to transfer these memorials to you. Riverview Cemetery here in Portland is lovely and historic, and the staff there is very helpful. I believe I was attempting to document the section the Foster family are resting in. I'm pleased to help out. You are very welcome.

Nancy Ann Rowley Orr
I believe Annie died after 1910. She is in the U.S. Census 1910 as Anna M.,living with her daughter, Elizabeth L.{Luella} Thornburg, my great grandmother. I made the connection when I remembered the bible with the name Annie Rowley, 1858, Washington Seminary, written in pencil, and a picture that was given to me at the same time. I've had these for thirty years and never knew who she was. Thanks so much for the info. Please keep in touch, never know who else we are related to.

I am the great, great granddaughter of Nancy Ann{Annie} Rowley Orr, burried at Melrose Cemetery, Bridgeville, Allegheny County. Are you a relative? I have had a small bible that belonged to Annie Rowley in 1858 when she attended Washington Seminary in Blairsville, Pa.. If you have any more information it would be greatly appreciated.

RE: More Hoppers
Lots of good info, Bettie! I love it! You're into adding obits like me.

I have no proof of the Ner connection to Samuel N. Hopper, but suspect it'll come from his mother's side. Perhaps his maternal grandmother's maiden name? Just a guess.

Re: Mary Elizabeth Caldwell Brown. Interesting obit and so sad. Heart attack at 28 and 10 days after giving birth to second child. (That means the baby, Joseph Caldwell Brown, was born 11/23/1887.) By the way, I have her as Elizabeth Mary and her husband as Finley David Brown.

Thanks a bunch for the heads-up on Samuel & Jane. Lots of good info in those obits.

I found Eleanor Hopper Bedillion (daughter of Joseph & Ella Hopper), her husband John and his parents in Mount Prospect Cemetery over in Hickory and linked them to the Hoppers. Added plots and obits that I found. Will put in for grave marker photos when I can.

Croco Memorials
Thank you, Thank you, for posting the photos for Peter Croco, Peter Croco, Melinda Raver Croco, Annetta Linhart, etc. What wonderful pictures.

I was wondering if you could send me scans. The photos most always are fuzzy when downloaded on find-a-grave, due to reduced pixels.

BERTONICO@aol.com

Peter Croco 1745-1818 is my great grandfather, through his son Adam Croco. Peter, Malinda and Annetta are cousins along with the others. Are you related through Annie, Isaac Croco and Anne Croco Smith, or just a wonderful person documenting cemeteries?

Thank you, Thank you again.

RE: Agnes Wallace @ Bethel Presby
Hi,

So kind of you to do such a thorough search for Agnes. I know these 'oldies' are hard to find...not much left anymore, if anything. I got my info about her burial from "Genealogy of the Wallace Families" on Anc.com archives, and I reread it this AM, and it says PROBABLY buried at Bethel. I guess it wouldn't hurt to see if she's at the Mingo cemetery. I so appreciate your efforts. Thank you very much. { We got snow!! unheard of in these parts of CA}

Have a great day,
Diane
