|Sandi Litzenberg||RE: Jennie Grimm @|
Hello!! I just photographed James & Anna Deweeses daughter's headstones this afternoon, Rebecca J. Dewees Davis & Sarah Lesnet.. James is a cousin, not quite sure of which of Garret Hendricks de Weeses sons he's decendended from but I come from the Lewis Deweese line. It was quite coincidental that I came across him.. I was doing a search in Heritage Cemetery and came upon a Dewees marker.. being of that family I took the pic and came home and researched him on my tree on ancestry.. now do you want to hear something really weird?? well i'm gonna tell ya.. so while searching Jameses family, I came across a picture of his daughter Rebecca with her husband and children.. having recently received a box of family photos from my dad I instantly recognized her as the woman in an unmarked photo that was in that box.. I searched the box, found the pic, compared the two and am 99.99999% sure that it is her!! ;-) Are you by chance on ancestry??

|pamela west||RE: Hannah Brakeman Leslie|
Thanks for getting back to me. How are you related to the Brakemans? I have done considerable work on these folks, including spending time in Ashtabula and Lake counties, OH, visiting libraries, cemeteries, etc.
Lodowick and Eve had numerous children; I am descended from John, who married Hannah Harris. He had about 9 children, and my line descends from daughter Anna Brakeman Woodworth Morford.
The Olive O. Gaylord buried with Hannah Brakeman Leslie (Anna's sister) is daughter of another sister, Sophia Brakeman Gaylord.
Please, if you don't mind, would you email to me what you have on any of these folks. firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sophia and husband David Lewis Gaylord are buried in Buchanan County, IA, and have findagrave memorials.
I will be glad to send to you what you would like; I have tons.
Thanks so much,

Thanks for the heads-up on William & Annie's obits.
I tracked down some date info on their daughter, Hazel Marie Hopper Halbach, and son-in-law, Howard Lindsay Halbach. Created memorials for both and linked Hazel with William & Annie.

I'm sorry about not finding the two headstones you are looking for, but I did find a stone inscribed with this. "Elizabeth dau.of Wm.& Ann Morrow died Nov.22,1849". Next to Elizabeth was a stone inscribed "Little Latetta" I saw a pile of headstones near these headstones and I'll try and get back to this cemetery and see if I can find anything in the pile.

I believe her dad was my 2nd great grandfather's brother. I'm not sure of that and will have to do some checking.

You are very welcome for the photo. Did you know that the Figgins marker is in the Old Wheelersburg Cemetery? You may want to add it to that cemetery list. I just found the marker by chance while looking for a different name.

I saw that you posted information for memorial #34810511, and had the following information: George Johnston Heagen, son of James Walter Heagen and Sarah J. Johnston. Husband of Ora B. Nelson.
Would you by chance know the names of the parents of James Walter Heagen? He is my 2nd greatgrandfather. I've hit a brick wall in researching this side of my family and would love any information. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sorry, I forgot this. The hat can be found at any 1700's reenactment. You should be able to find them online also by looking up 1750 period attire. I love my hat for working in the garden. Just add the ribbon in your favorite color. Jan

My idea is that if I can help someone who is far away get the photos they need, then that makes me very happy. Glad I could help you in your searching.

|Connie Johnson||Sarah Ritchie Grave Stone|
I have located a stone in the East Liberty cemetary with the name ISABEL RITCHIE with the dates you have indicated for SARAH, 1843-1927.
Is it possible that this is who you are looking for? I have been unable to locate a Sarah. I have photographed the stone for Isabel. Let me know if I should add the picture.

|E. M.||James & Margaret Morrow|
Thank you very much for providing information for James & Margaret Morrow who are buried in Brick Cemetery, Mercer County, Illinois. I just happened to notice the flowers a little bit ago and added all the given information to their memorials. I had been unable to read the stones while I was there, so this was a great surprise. If you're interested in transfers please let me know, as I'd be happy to. Thank you. -E.M.

|Cherie Atkinson Clark||RE: Center Presby Cemetery|
First, let me apologize for spelling your name wrong, it didn't look right when I typed it but I was too lazy to look it up!
I just wanted to let you know I found the wife of Richard Jones in my files. I'll send you a private email about her since she's probably still living. As for the Skiles children, I'd love those! They are the brother and sister of my g-g-grandfather, James H. Skiles. Interesting that Nancy died in 1848. I found her in the 1850 census, so unless they had two daughters named Nancy, someone gave incorrect info to the census taker!

|Cherie Atkinson Clark||Hi Betty|
I am way behind on doing corrections. I just misread a message from Find a Grave about a transfer you made to me. I thought you were asking to have it transferred to you!
If you want me to give it back, that's fine with me, but I'm not sure who Richard Jones is! See http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=57736687
Thanks, sorry for being stupid ;)
