Do you know the ad on TV about feeling lucky? I was passing thru Cincinnati and was drawn to that cemetery. You were one of the lucky ones who I could find the memorial. I'd go buy a lottery ticket, quick!
Have a good day.

Just wanted you to know that I claimed this photo request yesterday and did my homework to find the grave location and asked the creator to update it with the location. I went out today to find, photograph and post the pictures. I was shocked to see that you had posted the headstone photos. How rude of you to do this and not let me know. I don't have a problem if someone already has the photos and tells me so I don't waste my time. Either claim the photo requests yourself or at least let those of us who do follow the proper procedure know when you have the pictures and are planning on posting them.
We're all striving for the same goal...let's not duplicate our efforts here.

Just wanted you to know that I claimed these photo requests on May 17th, went out today to find, photography and post the pictures. I was sure shocked to see that you had posted the headstone photos.
Please be considerate enough not take photos if they have been claimed by someone else.

Thanks for the transfers!
I have additional information on this MEIER lineage & will try to post it on findagrave over the next several days.
After I link these MEIERs to their parents/descendants, I will transfer them back to you as requested. --- Jeff Mancini (Cincinnati, Ohio)

D.R. Cunningham....Would it be possible to have the site of my uncle, Steven Edward Pete, transferred to me so I may update his site and connect him to the rest of his family? Thank you very much. Kathy

Thanks for the transfers, and a delight to find your Memorials. I sure have a lot of Charles Wests in our family to sort out! That would be excellent to speak with the one you worked with in the 1990s.... I'd love to get them all straightened out - historically speaking! grin... Thanks again, Judy West

Charles E...should it have been 12341138 - yes, that is where Rose should be connected. Thanks! If they are not related to you then the transfer would be great. I could update the pages. Have a great day! Carol

Thank you too! I do the same thing now. While I'm out in a cemetery I'll just take everyone around the grave too. You never know who might be a relative! So sometimes a requestor will get a bonus! Hopefully you keep your pictures more organized than I do. Sometimes I forget which cemetery I took some of the pictures in! I go to so many cemeteries in the same day, and if I don't post the pictures within a week or 2...I may not remember which one I took it in! Have fun!

Oh...thanks for warning me! I appreciate it! It wasn't a wasted trip as I wanted to see if another photo I had taken was actually in Westwood Cemetery and I found it! If you have any other photos you haven't posted, please do so.

I did go out and get the photos, but hadn't downloaded them to my computer, so add my closeup of his name. Not to worry, these things have happened before.

My pleasure. The cemetery is really beautiful if you ever get a chance to visit, very hilly with lovely monuments. Both of my paternal great grandparents are buried there.

Thanks for your reply. I have a feeling, so corret me if I'm wrong. Your name is Dan? You are connected to the Lorain County Historical Society?
As to the Jefferies. I had a feeling that the two older people might have been Uncle Tom's parents. I never really knew him; only saw him a few times. I think I was already married when he and Aunt Stella were married.
Do you know if there are any Jefferies (members of the family) who are buried outside the tomb? I'd love to be able to come there to Elyria sometime and find them.

Thank you, Dan, for taking the time to get the photo for Mary A. Jefferies. I believe she is related to my uncle, Thomas Jefferies, who is in the same crypt. He was married to my aunt Estelle Edwards Williams Jefferies, who is also in that crypt. It is a shame that it is in disrepair, as you say. I sure hope the cemetery sexton, or whoever is in charge of repairing stones or crypts takes care of it, before it is beyond repair. It would be a shame if vandals would have easy access to the inside of the crypt and disturb the people who are sleeping in there. Thank you again. Pat
