RE: Stafford Cemetery
Hi Christina,
Something is not right here; I have left a message to those family/researchers who are requesting Photos of their love ones that are buried in the Mausoleum at "The Angeles Abby Memorial Park" in Compton, CA. I was rather confused as to how you and I are connected with Stafford Cemetery..I don't even know where that Cemetery is. Sorry for the confusion..I guess..lol

Where are you?
Christina, are you in Kansas? There was a child, Ruth Mitchell that died sometime before 1910 probably in Hutchinson, or at least Hayes county that I would like to find more info on. Any ideas?

MG "mamie" Tyler
Thank you so much for posting this headstone. It was a picture of Grandma Mary Grace Perkins Tyler that I found only a few years ago that started my amazing genealogy search. Because of her I was able to find my family back many generations. Of the many people and dates and lives I was able to trace I couldn't find her death date. And of all the members I have found I wanted desperately to find her. It was a death certificate of her daughter, my great grandmother, that someone posted in Ancestry that I was able to find "Mamie". I didn't have this nickname for her. Again, thank you, thank you so much.

Hi, thank you for adding a photo to my G-Grandfathers memorial but could you please remove it. The memorial already had that photo (posted in 2008) on the second page and so your photo is a duplicate taking up one of the 5 spots available for me to load photos.

Many thanks,
Mark

I wanted to thank you for the information you found out for me. That actually broke my heart to find out because someones disagreements they would destory records. It makes me really disappointed. :(

But thank you for taking the time to go out there and look for Lou. :(

George D Barclay and Elizabeth, Zade
Hi Christina,

I transferred your larger picture showing Elizabeth Barclay and daughter Zade's stones together to each of their sites and hope you don't mind. I also rec'd a call back from the cemetery - super-nice manager.

He explained that George was buried in 1911, two spaces to Elizabeth's left, with a man named Fred Van Dyne buried between them! Fred died first, 7-18-1894, and Elizabeth died 3 mos. later. Zane had died on 6-18-1881 and was already buried in what would become Elizabeth's right (her left hand, but the right side of her stone when facing it.)

He said that as owners of the plot, Geo and Eliz would have had to give permission to bury Van Dyne there and doesn't know why they put him in that exact spot and not the outer spot. No clue as to his identity.

Thanks so much. Have requested transfer of George's memorial, also. I'm learning to navigate Find A Grave, now! (:

I am glad you were thrilled. I use a web site. I must say that "The Post" is not a well written newspaper, they made a lot of errors, and consistently forget to mention the wife's name which is an oddity of the times, that just drives me crazy. Anyone else you want me to look for? Here is the web site - http://fultonhistory.com

Christina,
Yes that was me!!!! I was looking at your profile picture and I recognize (I think) a couple of faces. I believe you are in the PINK? RIGHT? WRONG? Also the girl in the purple bears a resemblance to a lady I worked with. Her name is Cheryl Harris....
