Sorry it took so long to add the links to his parents. If you would like, I can transfer his and his wife's memorials to you. I am not related to them.
You will need to go the each memorial, click on the tab "Edit" on the upper right corner. Then click on "Suggest any other correction or addition" and request that I transfer the memorial.

Henry - did your wife ever find that photograph of Mary New?
Added by D Sikes on Dec 03, 2011 7:48 PM
|D Sikes||THANK YOU!!|
YES - anything you have about Ms Mary would be greatly appreciated. Mary is my daughter in law's grandmother and her role model through her childhood. She sure was a nice person and I'll bet a great teacher. She was looked up to by her grandchildren.

Thank you so much for the photo of Oak Grove Cemetery and also the marker for Ralph and Mary (Nelson) New. I wanted to make sure it was ok to use your photos on my family tree on ancestry as long as I credit the photos as being taken by you.
This is usually ok with everyone, but I don't want to assume. Some people have strange ideas about their photos of other people's graves.
Just let me know it is ok. I appreciate it very much. Anything I have done is available to anyone....

|Sally Richards Anderson||photo for Kim Brainard|
I have claimed your request for a photo of the gravestone for Kim Marie Brainard. I wanted to tell you that I have made one attempt, but have not found her grave yet. I will have to go back, but it will be a couple of weeks before I will be able to return to Highland Memorial Park.
I wish you well.

Happy to do it. I'm actually heading out to Boniface in a few minutes to find a few more before we get covered in snow and it become impossible to find anything. Are you sure about Helena? Cemetery records show her being buried in Section RA, Lot 170 on 12/8/1900. That is the same location as Charles J. There is no birth date or age shown in the records, and the grave is unmarked so it's impossible to tell from that. Perhaps a baby? Distant aunt? It has to be more than a coincidence. Hmmmm ....

|Marilyn M||Additional Roeske family?|
I have found a number or other Roeske's in the St. Boniface Cemetery records that do not have memorials here on findagrave. I will try to locate them in the next few days, but I wanted to check to see if they belonged to Roeske family you are looking for. There is a Helena interred 12/8/1900 buried in the same location as young Charles J., she also has no headstone. There is a Rob interred 5/4/1922 somewhere in St. Boniface with no additional burial information. I have the burial locations of the following: Paulina 67yrs.(i. 2/11/1892), Gilbert John(i. 6/5/1942), baby (i. 2/10/1936), Evelyn (i. 1/24/1920), Emma (i. 6/27/1893). Now I just need to locate them.
There is also an Arthur S. (i. 10/26/2000) and and Emma (i. 5/27/1974) that do have memorials here, just no photos.

Thanks for your reply...I have quite a mystery on my hands...hoping I can find the right Helen Becker soon. All the best,

Besides being a volunteer here on Find A Grave, I am on the board of directors for the Illinois Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. This year, we are celebrating 30 years of service. One of the founding members of this organization was Helen Becker and I notice that you created a memorial for someone with that name. The dates and locations might be a match and I am wondering if you might know if your Helen Backer might be the Helen I'm searching for. Please feel free to send me a message or send me an email...any help would be greatly appreciated. All the best, Sherry
