Andrew Peter Petersen memorial
Here is what Smith sent to me.
Hello, while I thank you for your interest in my relative's memorial, I didn't mean to create a duplicate at the time but it was a mistake that I am not that interested in correcting. I have a ton of links to this page and frankly I have no interest in deleting or changing them all at this time. It's really not a big deal. I'm not quite sure why the owner can't delete hers since mine is way more connected to everyone, plus I'm a relation, but it's certainly her choice and I respect that. I hope you can disregard it since it's not really hurting anything. If you're a relative please let me know. Thanks.
Thought I'd let you know.

I sent him a message the same day I sent you one. I have not heard back form him yet. When I see duplet memorials I send messages to both people so they can resolve the problem. As that is all I see that I can do.

Thomas Hendrickson.
Hi Joan, would you happen to know anything more about the Thomas Hendrickson you posted the memorial about? His grave is in the Martin Cemetery in ElDorado Springs, Missouri. I'm hoping he is a long lost cousin I've been looking for since about 1985. I'd so very much appreciate any help or advice you might have. Best wishes, Dan Kemp

Lissette Mueller Hensel, #44038662
Hello Joan,
You have added information about her siblings since I first found her memorial. I am wondering how you learned that Theodore John Miller was her half-brother. I have suspected for some time in my searches and family information that she may have been related...either his mother or sibling.
Theodore is married to my great aunt; and their daughter Mary was married to Lissette's son by Mr. Hensel, William (Billy) Hensel. Both Billy and Mary were lovely people, I so enjoyed them as a child, and Mrry was my grandmother's favorite niece.
Ted (Theodore)'s granddaughter is also searching for more information about grandfather's family.
Thank you for any additional light you can shed.
We appreciate the vast information you have shared on Find A Grave.

Hi Joan, I need a break from my project, so I'm doing a little looking. I found a 21 Jan 1957 article from the Mason City Globe Gazette about Osage (actually, several towns of that name) that mentions Squire McKinley. If you don't have it, I can email it to you. My email is linda2014@bluetang.org

Hi Joan, You have done a beautiful job on Squire McKinley's memorial. I think his middle name is Simeon, based on the 1850 census.

I am in the middle of a project I need to finish. Once I'm at a stopping point I'll get back to you on this.

RE: Detals of Lucy Maude Maskell Cripps
Hi Joan
Thank you for your reply. Here is the link to a copy of Lucy's birth certificate (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/98476365/tmp/BirthCertificateOfLucyMaudMaskell001.jpg), which confirms the date and place of her birth.
Just to clarify, her bieth date is Twelfth April 1870, and the place is Commonside, Kingswinford, Staffordshire.

I am still working on the siblings and children, so will message you another time regarding them.

Detals of Lucy Maude Maskell Cripps
Hello Joan

Thank you so much for the Photographs of Lucy's headstone. You do such a good service. I was so excited when I found this information

I am the granddaughter of Thomas Percival Maskell, Lucy's youngest brother, and have done extensive research into this family.

Please would you make a few corrections to the information accompanying the photos.

In the following corrections you will note that I give Lucy's birthdate as 12 April instead of 11 April. I have a copy of her birth certificate, so I can be exact in that date.

1. Under the heading 'Rites' the second paragraph should read - Lucy Maud Maskell was born April 12, 1870 in Commonside, Kingswinford, Staffordshire, England, the daughter of Lucy Law and Charles Bewick Maskell.

2. Under the heading 'children', there should also be Gladys M Cripps (1896 -)

3. Under the heading 'siblings' there should also be:-
Ida Beatrice Maskell Pritchard (1877 - 1954)
Clara May Maskell Kingston (1880 - 1966)
Mary Annie Elizabeth Maskell Harrop (1882-abt 1955)
William Bewick Maskell (1885 - 1968)

Once again, many thanks for all you are doing.

Thanks & a question
Hi
You're doing a great job! Thank you Joan Edmonson! Is it possible that you've been specially interested in those people you've presented with long texts? In that case you probably have them in your own genealogical database and possibly they are your relatives - as it happens they are mine too. Today I became a free member here, after finding great information about my distant relatives, the Harvala family (Jacob ja Jemina's family originated from Ylivieska in Finland).
Are you connected to that family and in that case even to my country, Finland?

Best regards
ES
