Angela Stewart
Michael Sechler Grave Site
My husband is Adam Christian Stewart, SR. He is named after Washington Christian Sechler. When he was a child, his grandmother, aunt, uncle, and others on the Sechler side of his family would always call him "George". He was born on February 22, 1971. I am curious to know after seeing Micheal Sechler's page if he is one of my husband's ancestors. If you have any information or know anyone who might have the ability to tell us, that would be awsome! He has wondered why, after all these years, they called him George. I think I just found out why...now it would be nice to know if he was part of the same family. Thank you.

Michael Hafer
I am looking for information on the wife of Michael Hafer. I know that there is one female Hafer in the same cemetery, Matilda, but I thought she was the wife of Daniel, not Michael.

Dear Tom,
I appreciate your data…now I have used a copy of Guide to Cemeteries and Burial Grounds by Dale E. Berger….January, !995 1st edition to try to locate the cemetery for the Storm Family locale but this primary source does not account for it. If you do not mind would you please provide such information so I can place a flag and holder on-site ASAP!? Thank you ! Also I will take your data and make file and a grave registration page in our system to insure accountability each Memorial Day in the future to insure it is decorated appropriately !
Joel

Laurelton Cems
I think you're refering to the cemetery halfway between town and Lincoln Church Cem. And that may be worth my walking through next time I am in the area. Especially if it existed around 1820. It's possible markers never existed as my source seems to suggest. Thanks for the update.

It looks like they might have had a change of heart. Not sure why they would say that, especially being his name is famous with tattooing, and he has a popular spirit named after him as well. SMH

Buck
John DeHaas - German Reformed Cemetery
Hello - I check the list of burials and plot owners for the old German Reformed Church cemetery that is available (ironically) in the Easton Library. I didn't see anyone named DeHaas or any obvious variant of hat name. Not sure where to go from here.

Also, please note that not all of the bodies from the church cemetery were moved to Easton Cemetery. Some probably went to other local cemeteries. Some were put in a "vault" that is now under the library's back driveway. Some are probably still on the library grounds, in addition to two identified people known to be there.

Thank you for the Bower/Stover headstone photos in Stover Cemetery (Aaronsburg). I hope all you had to do was dig into your archives to put the individual photos up. They look great and I am very appreciative of the work you do in Central PA.

Kind regards,
Alan Vibber
