Myers Struble
Hi! I saw on Ancestry.com message boards that someone (maybe you?) posted that their Potts relatives were buried in Northwood Cemetery with a Sylvester and Sarah Struble. I saw the person put other surnames at the top including Myers and Schleyer. Sarah Struble is a Myers. I googled Myers Schleyer and found your find a grave posting for a Joseph Myers in Northwood. I'm directly related to Sarah and Sylvester, I'm curious as to how they tie in with your relatives in find a grave and the ones posted on ancestry...if that was you. Also, according to their death certificates, they were buried separately, him in Northwood and her in the now defunct Monument. I'm wondering if she wasn't moved with all the other bodies and the family had her moved to her where her husband is buried at Northwood instead? Which is odd that they wouldn't have been buried together in the first place.

Anyway, if you have any information please let me know and I can share info with you as well.
Thanks!

Thomas H. Ottey
Hi Kate,

I've seen you on the Friends of Mount Moriah Facebook page, but I don't think we've "met". I'm adding some distant ancestors on my husband's side that are at MM. One is Thomas H. Ottey. I see your memorial for an infant that died in 1887. I'm trying to figure out how this child fits in to the Ottey/Wagner/Ware families since he's in the same plot.

These folks are in Catherine Ware's plot (Section 130, Lots 17&18). There is a Thomas H. Ottey (died Dec. 4, 1886) married to Amanda (Wagner) Ottey (died Feb. 11, 1895). There is a cradle stone for their children Charles, Carrie, Kate and John who all died young.

Did you find a death certificate for the child Thomas H. Ottey? I'd like to add him to my ancestry tree once I figure out where he fits in.

Thanks!
Jenn

"Herman" Vansant
Your entry for Herman is actually Harman who is my husband's ancestor in the Bensalem Presbyterian Cemetery. Could you remove Herman since Harman is already listed? Thank you.

Transfer Request
Hi Kate,
Would you be willing to transfer Infant Bennett to me? This is my mother's little brother. My mother was Genevieve Bennett, daughter of John and Mary Bennett. I have also sent you a message asking for the transfer of Baxter Van Bennett, both of them are my mother's brothers and both of them are buried in Plymouth Cemetery. I have photos of both of their headstones which have been removed for repair with white crosses put in their place temporarily. My number is 46934155. Thank you so much.

Transfer Request
Hi Kate,
Would you be willing to transfer this person to me? Baxter Van Bennett, is my mother's little brother. I have a picture of his headstone and a picture of him that I would like to add and would like to maintain this page. I am also going to be sending you a request for another one in the same cemetery, Infant Bennett. Both headstones have been removed by my cousin who is suppose to repair them and two little white crosses were put there in their place temporarily. I noticed that someone else posted a picture of the two crosses with no known names. I will write to her and explain what has happened. Thank you! My number is 46934155.

Carleen
Leeman family
Hi Kathie,
I only have one photo of Henrietta, and it's not very good. One of my brothers found it several years ago. It shows her, George Wesley and a small boy, probably a grandson in a watermelon patch. "Big watermelons" I have put it on her memorial #54794109. I wish I had more photos of them.

G Grandfather George Wesley and Henrietta had 11 children; Grandfather Frank Wesley and Emma had 13 children. I have worked a long time on the families, but finally have all 24 kids on Find A Grave. I had a few gravestone photos from the family, but have listed many memorials on the "photo request" on Find A Grave and have gotten a wonderful response from people. People are so kind to go and take the gravestone photos, I really appreciate that.

No, I don't live in Me, I was born in Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis Co. My family moved away many years ago. I have gone back a couple of times, my husband and I hope to go back next year.
Have a great week-end.
Carleen

Hi Kate,
Thanks for linking Harold with his parents. When I got the email from Madeline wanting me to link Harold with his folks - I thought I will do a good thing and write to Kate and ask her to link Harold. I didn't know you were Madeline's Mom until I got your email. Sorry to have bothered you.

I am so excited that there is only 4 children left to be linked to Willard, hope we can find info on them.
Thanks again,
Carleen

Hi, thanks for your message. I had the Monroe County Public Library email me a copy of an obituary for someone else from the July 17, 1990, edition of the Bloomington Herald-Times and the copy included part of Sherman Pitluck's obituary.
If you don't already have a copy, go to the following site and just enter the last name Pitluck and it will give you the ordering date for Sherman and Dorris' obituaries.
