Thomas Hugh Price
Are you a member of this man's family? I'm trying to locate what happened to his brother, John W Price after he and my grandmother divorced in the 1930's.

You are very welcome. The lighting wasn't real good. The sun coming through the trees made all of the shadows. I enjoyed helping.

Marie Nail-
Hobart/Hobert Earl Walker
Good Grief! Can anyone locate a marriage license for him and Bessie Northcutt? She was my grandma Alice Jane Walker's Mother and I cannot find his bones anywhere to get the correct man. I like to have a stone with the birth and death dates on them to make sure I have the right person and it is driving me nuts! Where is Hobart/Hobert? He married twice so where is the license? Death certificate? If only we could locate the right family member's tree I would be so happy! And a picture, good Lord a pic of him or the stone would be nice and the cemetery. I start this tree and now I am addicted!

RE: Mary Elizabeth Rowton Gupton
She is my 3rd cousin once removed. Her 2nd great grandfather is my 3rd great grandfather, his youngest child Edna Rowton is my 2nd great grandmother, she married John Grissom, their 5th child is my great grandmother and their 9th child is my grandmother and her oldest son is my father.

So do you have much information on the Rowton's? It looks like I am missing some dates and places. I know it is way back but I like to have the families as complete as possible. Like that will ever be...

You mention Slay's where do they come in to the picture, I have not heard that name before.

Thank you for the information, I really appreciate it.

Liz: So do you have any history on her family? For instance did they have any children, or do you know when or where they were married?

Liz...yes, I was looking at Mary's obituary. Was it appropriate to add that or should I take it off?

Hello Liz!

Thank you so much for fulfilling my request for a photo of Stephen Douglas Lundell's marker/unmarked plot. I greatly appreciate your kindness and the generosity of your personal time in visiting the cemetery, locating his plot, photographing his burial location and sharing your photos to his memorial. You're a kind soul.

Best Regards,

James Copeland
Hi Liz. I got the e-mail with the error message regarding James Copeland's grave at Morton Cemetery. Would you be willing to contact the memorial creator and ask her what information she has on this person, such as who owned the plot where he was buried, who signed the paperwork to bury this James, and who else might be buried near him that might be related to him? The memorial creator is an administrator at the cemetery. I''m trying to determine if this James Copeland is the grandfather that a cousin of mine is looking for. The dates fit with what she knows, but it seems there were multiple James Copelands. A more complete name, if available, would be helpful also. Were there any markers around this grave? Please let me know what you find out. Thanks!!

RE: Dorothy Claiborne Slay
Dorothy Claiborne Slay was my great-aunt. I do not know the name of the Slay she was married to! I don't know anything about him. I remember her vaguely, but she did not have a husband in her later years. Not sure if they were divorced or if he had died. Unfortunately, there are no other relatives to ask -- just me! I'm so sorry I couldn't help more.
