Permission to copy photos
My Grandparents, GGrandparents, many others are buried in the First Mennonite Church Cemetery in Pretty Prairie, Reno, KS. I've been there 2 times to take my own pictures but didn't have all of the many 3rd cousins names at the time. I would like permission from you to copy the pictures you have taken in this cemetery of the many people I need in this cemetery to save me another 150 mile trip. I will definitely give you credit for the pictures I use. Family names in my tree: Vogt, Graber, Kaufman, Stucky, Krehbiel, Zerger etc. Thanks, Phyllis Nelson (Vogt)

Jasper Newton Dinsomore
Brenda, I just wanted to Thank You for posting the picture of Jasper Newton Dinsmore. Have you ever hear of or seen any pictures of Jasper's father, Peter O. Dinsmore? I know he died early in the Civil War, and he may NEVER have sat for a portrait, but, I would love to see a copy of any photograph of him if he ever did. Thanks for all you are doing for Find A Grave. Sincerely, Baxter

RE: sarah elizabeth pickerell cecil
Thank you. John Ulysses Cecil was my great-grandfather. My great-grandmother had several family pictures she left me when she died. Most of them are of her side of the family. Some are of my grandpa's side. One I have is labeled Pickerell family reunion. John and Sarah are visible. It's my understanding they lived next door to my great-grandparents in the last years of their lives. There is a couple more she labeled "Ma and Pa Cecil" I'm not sure if these are of John and Sarah If you're in the Greenfield or New Palestine area, perhaps we could meet at the library and share photos. Thanks again. Michael

There is a photo of Sarah and her husband you posted to her memorial. I would like to know if it is possible to acquire a copy of it. They are my great-great grandparents. The photo was taken outside of my house. I have other pictures of them, but not this one. Thank you.

Charles Raver & Charles Leon Blew
Brenda -

As indicated on their Memorials, Charles Raver "Bark" and Sylvia Ann Luellen-Blew are the parents of Charles "LEON" Blew buried in Pleasant View Cemetery in Darlow. Mary J. Blew is/was not listed as Charles Leon' parent on the Memorial. She is in fact a half-sibling and the deceased infant daughter of Charles and his first wife Mabel Haines (Mary' Memorial has an incorrect birthdate,I have requested a correction).

William Lambert & Melisa Jane Swartzell-Blew are my Great-Grandparents, Edmund Andrew "Swag" and Ethel Jimsena Nelson-Blew are my Grandparents. The Blews are a very close family and dearly love, honor, and respect our ancestors. We have been documenting Birth and Death information for years. However, to be absolutely certain the information I have posted on Find-a-Grave is accurate, I confirmed "Charles' information this week-end at the Blew Family Reunion.

RE: Memorial Transfers - I tried for an entire year to correspond with you concerning the "Blew Memorials" at Pleasant View. I had no idea if you were related, or not, and you state in your BIO that you do not have time for proofing genealogy so, don't ask... with my documented failed attempts to connect with you, I requested that Find-a-Grave transfer the Memorials to me, I have respectfully linked the family together. The transfer happened a couple of years ago.

Forest Hill Cemetery
Hi Brenda:

I've sent through a few SACs for this cemetery before I read your bio....I am hoping you will go ahead and make the links to spouses, children, etc. Also I walked and photographed this cemetery and added quite a few photos to the memorials already there, and added a few memorials that were not established yet. Also, from the obits on the memorials were maiden names and middle names. I hope that will suffice for the proof that you require for updating. Thank you.
