M Hicks
Simeon A. Downing
HI Marcia,

I am researching descendants of my great great grandfather John Richard HICKS.

On Find A Grave, in the memorial for Simeon A. DOWNING [Memorial# 8099972], you list four children for Simeon.

These children and their children would be direct descendants of John Richard HICKS.

Do you have additional information for them?

Please contact me at the email below so we can compare notes.

Thank you.

Amy H.
Mrs. Eiserlo
Working on St. Joseph Cemetery records in Lafayette, I came across two Eiserlo women. One is listed in the cemetery records only as Mrs. Eiserlo. Looking around on for a first name, I came across your tree. I believe she is Eva Eiserlo. Would you like to take management of these two? The other is Elizabeth Eiserlo.

Question re: Fred & Eva Niednagel
Hi Marcia -

Thank you for the link of Fred Niednagel to his parents. I do have a question. According to my records Fred and Eva Niednagel had two children and I have their daughter's name as Sally. I see you have a different name for their daughter. I'm wondering if my information is incorrect. I'm also curious if we are related through the Niednagel families. Julius and Johanna Niednagel (Fred's parents) are my Great-Grandparents. What is your connection?

Thanks again.

Adeline Tisserand Heines
Hello, I have been researching Emanuel O. Leberer and see that you have a photo of his tombstone with his wife, Adeline Tisserand Heines. I was wondering if I may copy the photo for my ancestry page on Emanuel.

Carl W. Strubel
I just thought you might like to know that I happened upon the actual headstone for Carl W. Strubel in St. Boniface Cemetery in Lafayette, IN. I have added the new picture to his memorial. The picture that was already there in his memorial is actually in a totally different section of the cemetery from where his headstone is. I hope this is of some use to you and helps out. I was there looking for a different Strubel stone and took pictures of all those that I found. Carl's stone shows a birthdate, which seems to be missing from the memorial.

I question whether the 1883 death year is correct. According to cemetery records, she was 80 years old when she died which would make the year 1893?

I put in a request for George Fitch's marker in Ridgelawn Cem., Clark County, Illinois. The person that ansered my request went to the cem. and couldn't find the marker. Did you get his name from a cem. index book? Just wondering. If he doesn't have a marker maybe I could purchase one. Thanks, Lynn Fitch
