I looked at the sight. It's not your flower adding a picture. I checked where the pictures are and it says to check out more. I clicked on it and there are headstone pictures so that's why there are 5.

Hi Marylin, I'll check about the flower, it shouldn't be counted as a picture.

Hi, I'm James Johnson Kane's great great granddaughter. I noticed your name at the bottom right of the site. I think it's being counted as a photo so no more can be added. This is all new to me. Do you own this site?

Marylin, I see you have a couple of notes from Judy Dishon about Switzer's. I am trying to find out if the ones Judy has are also our Switzer's. I saw where you had left flowers on the memorials on Find-A-Grave #64389678 and #22994938 are these our Switzer's also?
Please let me know so I can add to our tree as I am having a hard time trying to tell if these are ours.

Marylin, If you were talking about John Haffner Switzer 1822-1906 and his wife Rebecca Lambert 1821-1906 then you and my wife are related as follows.
Beulah Cullen Bartlett daughter of Hezekiah Cullen whose wife was Bertha Ellen Switzer 1876-1951 and her father was Samuel Switzer 1850-1906.
Would love to share info/pictures of the family.

|Jan Dishon||RE: Switzer/Lambert|
Thanks. I was getting death certs on my Switzers and saw them so thought I had better get a copy just in case I needed it or found someone else who did. I also have a death cert. for a Mrs. Diantha Switzer in Kansas City, MO. Her husband was William and maiden name was Truesdale. I also have misc. Switzer death docs from Woodford County, IL if you think you had people there let me know.

You left flowers on Henry Hercules Switzer's memorial in 2011. I wrote you wondering if you were connected to John and Priscilla Switzer.
Today I saw the flowers again and looked at your profile and see that you are researching Switzer and Lambert. I had just been going through my Switzer marriage licenses and saw one that I have had but don't know for sure who they are.
I have a marriage license and cert. for a Jessie Lambert who married L. R. Switzer Aug. 9, 1911. The license was obtained in Emporia, Lyon, Kansas. Would this couple be connected to you?
Also there is another Switzer license that I don't know about either so might as well ask you about it as well Mary Switzer who married Quin M Shadel on May 21, 1882 also Lyon County, KS.

|Julia Savage Minatra||Arthur Jasper Heflin|
I saw that you left flowers for Arthur Jasper Heflin so I read your profile. Thank your for posting at Find A Grave. I have no relationship to the Helfin family except that my grandfather married Jasper's widow Mamie Johnson Heflin. Arthur had worked on my grandparents' farm. He died in Williamson Co TN from injuries received when he was struck by an automobile. My grandfather's marriage to Mamie was not a happy occasion for my mother's family since my grandfather had divorced my grandmother to marry the much younger Mamie. As sad as that was, it got sadder as Mamie also soon died as a result of injuries from an automobile accident in Anderson Co TN. She was buried in Williamson Co TN. My grandparents eventually remarried. Both they and my parents are now deceased. Since 1996 I have worked on compiling our family history and am now filling in some blanks. I learned, first from my mother, and confirmed in Tennessee records that Jasper and Mamie had a daughter named Jean. I have not attempted to find her and don't know if it would even be appropriate to so, but wonder if you have any connection to or information regarding this Heflin family that you might share. Jasper and Mamie lived in middle Tennessee in the early 1900s and into the 1940s. Again thank you for posting Arthur's grave location and I hope you will write to me if time and circumstances permit. Respectfully, Julia Savage Minatra

Thank you for letting us know. Because many who served in the military do not always have any indication of their service on their graves, we are asking anyone we can for help. We send messages to anyone that sponsors a memorial or leaves any photos or virtual flowers.
Again, thank you.

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

|Hillary Meister||RE: Redner|
Hi and thank you for the reply. From what I know, my grandfather's father changed the name from Radner to Redner due to a dispute between the two brothers. But all of that is unclear. I do know that Gilda Radner was a 4th cousin of mine on my grandfather's brother's side (my grandfather's brother, or great uncle) and that he was Gilda's father, I believe. But I'm still digging around to figure it all out.
