Tibbs
Steven, she went by her middle name Matilda. Did you find any name with Tibbs? Matilda would be the name on the marker. The edit you sent me on plot location, is this Johnson stone in the same plot location as Matilda?

Thank you for the information. I have not been able to verify either spelling and census records are handwritten so it could be either way.

RE: Georgia's father's obit., contents.
Yes, I did see that the fellow who managed the sites had passed away. Sorry that he is gone now. It was the person who took on the sites from him who I've had trouble contacting.

Some of these relatives have names that are easy to track on Fed. Census, and some have names like John Taylor, and George Foster, and the like, which is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Steven:

Thank you so much for going out and trying to find Elizabeths grave.

She was living at the county home when she died, so I am not surprised she had no headstone.

I would like to find her death certificate but so far have not had any luck, perhaps I should try to contact the funeral home.

Thanks again!

Georgia's father's obit., contents.
I tried to have the obit. for Henry Lincoln added to his site, but the site manager would not contact me in any way when I sent it, but it is on the site of Georgia's half brother Leslie, as it names his relatives and living nieces and nephews including those of Taylor.

Lois Taylor
Lois Irene Taylor was married in 1912 to a Danforth S. Clark, Mason City
f: John M. Taylor
m: Georgia Lincoln

Georgia Etta had a sister Olive Etta who married a brother to Taylor there and later a Rudolph Weise, but they may not be around there or at least in that cemetery.

The two other markers.
I am curious if the two graves flanking them in the picture are relatives and if you know the identity of them?

I requested some date corrections. Can't remember which ones now, but I'll go back and look everything over again. I checked a family site to be sure I was right. I'm missing one sister and I don't know where she is buried. Do you have a good way of finding hard-to-find folks in Iowa? Thanks!

RE: Daniel Vern Tynan
I do not know if we are or not. The only Tynan's I know are the ones who are my direct family. We are concentrated here in Central Illinois. I am still trying to link the 2 families I found in Bement and haven't yet.
