Thanks for the photo of Sophie Oberdick Syverson's tombstone. I have created a memorial for her husband John and son Donald. Donald was married to Angela Smith. Is she also buried there?

we stood there our eyes in amazement and our hearts touched like never before. i came home that day, thru nasty thunderstorm, pouring rain lightening flashes, and rolling cannon fire of thunder. i got into my apt. sat down and cried for about a hour. it had been long day and i was not sure if i could ever do that again. my emotions were so churned up by everything from that day. but a couple weeks later i was in willmer standing for another young man who hd lost his life for our country.
it is a honor to stand for our young men and women who are willing to fight for our freedoms in this country. i haven't gone as much as i use to due to my health not being as good as it was then. but if i see a young service member i always stop and say thank you to them. if you go to Brent's grave please honor him for me also. thank you again. janey

i just sent those pictures and wanted to tell you it was my honor to stand for Brent. we were there to keep that 'ugly' church away from the funeral. i think that if they were there that got the shock of their lives; when pretty close to 300 bikers showed up in redwood falls. we were amazed on the way to morgan the number of people that stopped what they were doing and waved to us on the highway with flags. it was a sad day but along with that it was great day too. janey

Thank you so very much for all your work for this family! You are correct that Ellen is their daughter. They had five known children Edwin, Jean Matilda, Hulda, Ellen, and Axel. You are so generous with your time and I thank you for it. Lars her father is my 3rd great grandfather. His wife moved to Idaho to help her son after her daughter in law died but Lars preferred to stay in Martin, Minnesota as he missed Sweden too much and it was like home. If you find plot numbers I will add it to their memorials. I have added the memorials for Gustav and Ellen now that we know where they are buried. I also did not have complete dates for them so thank you! You are wonderful! Sincerely Heather

|Tunie||Alma Fitzsimmons #112566301|
First let me thank you for all the great headstone photos that you have placed on my Fitzsimmons relative's memorials. Thank you so very much for the info about little Alma's burial in the Elm Creek Cemetery. I knew that there was another child born to Bert & Julia but knew nothing about her/him. Such a nice gesture for you to email me with her information. Now she has her own memorial
and I would surely appreciate the photo of her stone, too.
Your efforts are very much appreciated.

Thank you for all your work. This is the information in the death record:
Death Place: Peotone, Will, Illinois
Burial Place: Triumph, Minnesota
I don't know if that is a cemetery. I thought I'd found it but now I am not sure. Thank you!

Hi Suzanne, So nice to hear from you again! Actually I found on MN DC index as well as SSDI that Susan died in Martin County. Blaine was born in Olmsted County, Mayos' I suppose, since they might have expected complications. Certainly no indicator so far as to where she's buried though. Sounds as though you'll be busy this weekend if you have good weather. Ours can't make up its mind whether to be warm or cold - keeps changing but that's typical of the Rockies. At least no tornadoes up here! It will be interesting to hear what you find in Elm Creek.... Sandra

There's diabetes in my husband's family too - so sad she died that young. Our oldest is still steaming along at nearly 46 years old and plenty of stress in her life too. We had no idea it went beyond his aunt years ago. Susan isn't on FindaGrave in Martin Co. at all so far and it might be too painful to put her up. It would be nice to know where she is buried though. Appreciate the information on the children. Have Laura, was it? but didn't find a record for young Blaine for some reason, but was only checking in Martin Co. Way too hot here and starting to get buggy, ugh, first time to have windows open all night!
