RE: Sharon Ann Dooley
There was a Thomas Dooley buried next to her, but I didn't see any Samuel.

James Hayes Spears
You show James Hayes Spears Find A Grave Memorial# 50706461 as having no children or family. He was married to Maude Jane Lowe Spears Find A Grave Memorial #50706100 and those were his children (there is one missing though, Mary J. Spears Johnston Find A Grave Memorial# 48064977. Mary's maiden name was Harty, because she was adopted by her grandparents, Jesse Ora and Mary Jane Beard Lowe Harty as a child.) The child listed as Doris Margaret Spears Nocchi, was my mother. James left Maude and the children around 1920 and wasn't heard from again until we were notified by the Canadian Government, that he had died.

Thanks The file looks fine no. Sorry to have had to ask you to delete Bartels but didn't figure Diehard would co-operate and delete her file. I am continuing to work on the Mt Hope cemetery in Almena KS and updates are from the Sexton files and obituaries. I also walked the cemetery many times taking photo's so have faith in my edits! Again thanks, James Moore

Inskeep family
My name is Judy Vilmer I am with the Caldwell Co. Mo. historical Society. I grew up in Savannah Iowa, I just completed researching Savannah, and found some information that you may be interested in since you seem to have the majority of the memorials in Inskeep Cemetery. There was a young man from Savannah, Iowa named O.W. Inskeep. He fougnt in the battle of Lone Jack ,Missouri. He was 22 yrs old, a Pvt. In Civil War, fought with the 30th Iowa, Co. F. He died April 18,1863 of disease in Memphis, Tennessee. Didn't find where he buried, whether shipped back to Iowa, or in Memphis. Which it is probable he buried in Memphis, as it was not feasible to be shipping bodies during that time, unless a family member came to collect the body. Just some information. Judy

Please either attach her Find A Grave to Clarence Garmon or please transfer both of these Find A Grave pages to me as I am a relative. Clarence Find A Grave number is 15698508 and Alvina Mae Temple Garmon's Find A Grave is 15698506. I would prefer that you transfer both Find A Grave pages to me but if you prefer not to then attach them for me please.

How early are these records? Do they have them for Van Buren County too as early as say 1880? His parents last known place was Chequest Twp., Van Buren Iowa in 1880 census

Thank you for adding it. I just wish these old obits would mention parents names. As I have been searching for his mother as Roxannah or Rosennah Morrow. As her marriage info states her name at marriage was Mrs. Roxennah Morrow. Yet Isaac's death info from states her name as Rosie Monrow.

I have this. Strange as it may seem. I was going on vacation to southern Ohio to a family reunion. An older cousin had said he had a tin type photo and a letter he wanted me to see. We get down there and he had since lost them...still has not found them and this was several years ago. LOL So he instead gets out this small box of cards and obits and pictures. In this box he got from his parents was Isaac's obit. So this and the letter he mentioned and has yet to find again, is my connection to this man. As well as him and his parents living right next door my my 3rd great grandparents and having the same last name. A few other things fall into place as well.

I found your info on his memorial, and curious where you found it? The info I've found is that William was the brother that died in an accident described in your article. And the death was in Bloomington.
Is this family of yours also?

Viena and Charles Fidler
Can you tell me if you have any information such as an obit on these people. Viena passed in 1932.

If there is ever a picture that feel doesn't belong on a memorial and you can't get whoever added it to delete it, you can write to the administrators and they will check the situation out and if they feel it should be removed, they will remove it. :)

You're very welcome. I am glad that I was able to provide a link so that you could know for sure. This picture "situation" has been around for as long as I can remember.

Hooked On Family
No problem!

I kept getting confused between Walter and Wilbur besides! Eke

I just live near that Cem so have taken many photos. I do not know many of the people.

It just happened that those six Martzahns' stones are all together and all alike, so I figured they were linked.

Thanks for all your Find A Grave contributions.

Barbara E. Bowers #14969720
Thank you for entering and posting the photograph for Barbara E. Bowers. I have sent you some edits for her. She is the dt. of Rev. John Rider a United Brethren Minister. She also married a minister. Many families from Bedford PA moved to Iowa in the 1850's. It is nice to be able to find memorials for them. The cemetery that Rev. John Rider is in is not in the best shape but it is maintained though many of the memorials are becoming unreadable or are missing.

Claude Winingham
I just noticed that the family of Claude Winingham has two siblings, Henry O. Winingham and Florence Winingham Coffman listed as half siblings. They are all full brothers and sisters having the same two parents. These are my grandfather's siblings. Thank you.

James H. Winingham
Father of Claude O. Winingham. I am requesting this change because I discovered that this same man is listed in both the Towles and Biles cemetery. I have visited the cemetery and he is indeed buried in the Biles cemetery. The Towles listing is being deleted. I am trying to get the whole family listed together so that it will be easier to study the family. I am a great grand daughter of James H. Winingham, being the grand daughter of his son Harvey A. Winingham. The information on the Biles cemetery is correct. Sorry for the trouble but I thank you very much.
