My photo request for John W. Stoner Find A Grave Memorial# 10025516
hank you so very much for fulfilling my photo request. I was discouraged when Findagrave notified me that it could not be fulfilled without plot information, which the cemetery toldme they would only provide for a petty high charge.By any chance, do you have the plot information, so I can add it to his memorial?

I am collecting the memorials of my Naval Academy classmates into a virtual cemetery, '53 classmates, and you and other volunteers nationwide are doing a lot to make it a real gift to us all.

Edna Martin Jack
Hello LMJ,
One of your find grave memorials is an ancestor of mine. She was my great grand aunt. She was born, Edna Rose Lewis. She married a Dickson, then Martin, then Jack.

According to a copy of a Supplemental Report of Birth dated, 26 Nov 1943, her correct birth date is 11 Oct 1880. I have a picture of her that I would love to upload to the memorial, if you wouldn't mind. She was quite lovely.

I hope to hear from you.
Kim

Hi,

I'm interested in any information you might have on Catherine and her husband Albert? Albert was my Great Uncle. Are you aware of any living relatives for her?

Thanks

Pauline Katz
Hi there,

I was working on documenting the Children of Israel cemetery in Danbury, CT and see that you listed Pauline Katz as being born in 1903 and dying in 1913, but from her gravestone, she died in 1931. Could you update it, please?

Thanks!

Hi, I added the info you asked me to add. Apparently he's related thru a relative of a relative. He's buried with his wife on a plot with a Morrison couple. I don't know their connection.

RE: Re: Bates
Ok, yes I did notice this but what do you know about them prior to there arrival here in the states..This is where some of the lines break but are connected back in good ol England.. Many track back to Lydd or Lydde, Kent. This is what draws my interest to these groups. I have the same interest in the Midgley clans that split once they left England.

RE: Bates
Linda,

These 12 Bates in your group have my interest as they most likely hook up with my NY group. Would you consider putting them on a ship and sending them my direction?

RE: Stanley amd Rita Henry
Very happy to get it for you Linda. Actually, I feel very lucky to have found it as the cemetery office was unwilling to share anything with a "findagrave" volunteer!. Had it not have been for your Mausoleum identification, I would not have found them. They must have wanted to be found and perseverance prevailed.

Kind Regards,
Mike

update to grave
Hi there,

I just went to Children of Israel cemetery in Danbury and found Rosa Wengrow and her husband Henry's gravestones. Since you "own" Rosa's profile, can you please add her date of birth (from her gravestone)? It's May 12, 1869.
Thanks.

Sarah Martin
Demarest Family Cemetery
Hi LMJ,

My name is Sarah Martin. I do a lot of family history. The Demarest's are my ancestors on my mothers side. I have a little more information than you have entered on some people.

#8123744
Elizabeth Terhune Demarest was born 3/15/1794

#8123737
James (Jacobes)S Demarest was baptised 8/30/1761

#8123738
Letty Cooper Demarest was born 9/7/1763

#8123741
Samuel J Demarest was born 11/6/1790

#8123735
James D Snyder was born 1/10/1859

#8123734
John W Snyder was born 3/1855

You have a few others from the same cemetery that I have been unable to locate in my records so far. There are a lot of Demarest's so it will take some time.

I hope this helps you to update the information.

Thank you

Sarah Martin

Is your family the New England Bailey or Virginia Bailey Family. I have traced my wife's Bailey (madin name) family back to an H Bailey who fought in the R War 3rd New Jersey. Someone said that they believed he would be from the Virginia Family
