|David Richardson||RE: Richardson family|
Thanks so much Jeannette, I'll look more into "Shiloh".....
I did find a whole lot out today, stumbled on the rose hill cemetery which is about 2 miles from where my daddy grew up....have Richardson and Hundley graves going way back to early 1800's....The Hundleys are on my grandmas side....
I'm making some progress.
Have a good day and thanks again! :)

|David Richardson||Richardson family|
I'm new on here, my name is David Richardson and I'm trying my best to research my fathers side of family. He's deceased, but was born and raised in Ino, Va. in King & Queen County not far from Saluda, Va.
Anyhow, I saw on here about a Richardson family cemetery where you were connected on here in research.....There's no doubt I'm related. Richardson, Hundley, Holt....they are all names connected to me.
If you ever have info. connected to my family in that area, I would greatly appreciate it.
My dad was Arthur Cleveland Richardson....His mom was "Maggie", that's the only name I grew up hearing about her....my granddaddy was "Harvey"..... he died before I was born. My grandmother "Maggie" was a "Hundley" before she married from what I'm told....Hundley's are in King & Queen also.
Anyhow, I'm plugging along trying to find out all I can.....My initial start began trying to find my grandmother s "Maggie" grave, she died in the early 1970's and was burried in King & Queen Va.....I was young then....I remember her being buried in a place called "Shilow" or clise to that near Stevensville in King & Queen....

I hope you are well. I am new to this website and through my own research I am pretty confident that Booker is James's wife. They are my great great great grandparents. Would you mind adding that small note for me, p!ease?
Hamilton Burke Estis is their son.
Thank you so much for posting and all of your hard work!!!

I don't meet the Find A Grave guidelines for transfer for the three Ryland memorials you have. If, however, you'd be willing to part with them, I'd be honored to maintain them.

Please delete Blanche Mundie Broache #23941115 as spouse of Sanford Garnett Broache, Sr. As you advised from census, she is his mother not his wife.
Thank you for all you do for Find A Grave.

Thanks so much for the prompt edits! Appreciate you linking up the kinfolk. The dates and locations were corrected, too. If you look at your profile and the EDITS tab, you can select "Edits sent to me that I need to review", and you will see whatever is pending. You just select Approve for the edits sent and it will update.

|Jim Longest||RE: Longest & Fogg at Upper King & Queen Baptist|
Thank you for the updates. I should have stated that Clara's son's name was James Moore Fogg (F.A.G. #23421697) instead of John. Must have gotten a bit mixed up while typing.
I thank you for the transfer offer, but you may keep them if you wish to do so. My only desire is to see that the memorials are as accurate as possible. Plus, back then, a person's name had real meaning within their family. For example Grandsons often carried one or both of their grandfathers names as their first and/or middle names. The same for Granddaughters. (Matilda was named so after her paternal Grandmother, Matilda Jeffries) I feel that having a person's full name on their memorial,even beyond what may be on the stone, honors not only them, but their ancestors as well.
Thank you ever so much for the work you have done here on Find A Gave.

Thank you so much.
No transfer needed. That family is very distantly related to my aunt's husband's family--who seem to be related to everyone in the country! LOL
I just wanted to share the info I'd found so others could use it.
Here's to teamwork!

I saw the request for his grave at the Saint Pauls Lutheran Cemetery in Red Hook NY, Ifound his grave for you but sadly when I went to answer your request they told me that the memorial had reached its maximum amount of photos allowed, let me know if you would like me to email it to you!

Okay, I figured it out - he is in the Cemetery in Red Hook, not the one in Pleasant Valley, and I have moved him to the correct place and your photo request moved with him.

I realize I made the memorial for George and I listed him as being in St. Paul's Cemetery, but I went out yesterday and photographed every headstone in the cemetery (all 227) and I do not believe I found one for him. I am still going through the photos, but as I said I am almost sure... If you want to call up the church the secretary up there may be able to give you more information.
