RE: Duncan
Hi, Billy, All of our Duncans were in Indiana shortly after they came across from Scotland, according to what I have been able to find. Both Henry Duncan, Sr & his sons, Henry Duncan and Robert Duncan immigrated in 1832 through Philadelphia, settling breifly in Dauphin City, Penn and by 1835 had land registered in Fayette Cty in Indiana. I haven't been able to find anything further back in Scotland yet. You are welcome to look at the Arbol de la Vida tree on ancestry.com. Thanks, Ruth

I saw where you entered Henry Frank McBride (# 11097246) to find a grave, saying he was buried in Prairie Grove Cem. in Talahina, Leflore Co., OK. I would like to know where that cem. is located and direction on how to find it, going from Talihina.
Henry Frank McBride's daughter Elsie McBride was married to my mother's brother, Alvie Dean. I know she is buried in a little cemetery at Talihina, but not the same one where her husband was buried, so thinking maybe it would be where her father is buried. Would appreciate any help you can give me.

RE: Docia Della [Blackwell] [McBride] Courtright Crims
Hi Billy: I was well acquainted with Docia's son, Wm. Golden Blackwell. He and his wife are the one's that gave me the info regarding Docia's marriages. Grave stones indicate that Docia and her first husband, Elbert are buried in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, Talihina, Ok. I linked your memorial on Henry McBride to Docia; Is there some question as to where Henry is buried? Both Wm. Golden and Madge Blackwell are gone [deceased], so I don't have any other source for info. The Blackwell's were my dad's relatives.

Resthaven Cemetery
I saw you posted a memorial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The cemetery is actually in Cleveland County. You can change the cemetery without having to delete the memorial. If you go to your memorial, look just above the cemetery and there is an edit button. Then you can search for the cemetery, and it should move your memorial.

Good Luck!
Kim

Hi Billy,
Gene died died in Fresno where he lived. He had a farm there. How he died was his son was out on his tractor tending the field....his grandson was riding on the front of tractor Gene was along side and grandson some how fell and Gene immediate reaction jumped and pushed grandson out of the was of the tractor and Gene was ran over crushed and killed by the tractor.
They always lived in Fresno though. Gene was married to Francis Eileen Meeks....my grandmother Elizabeths sister....which both are still alive and still live in Madera and Fresno.
Your name is familuar to me....are you related on Gene's side?

If 1st wife died in 1859, he couldn't have married her in 1884. I think it's just a typo.

RE: Era P Winters Keck
Billy,

The reason I had Stanislaus California is there was an Era Pearl (maiden Winter) Keck b. 8 Nov 1877 d. 7 Dec 1957 list in the California death records. Era and William Fletcher had a daughter Eula living in that area so I assumed it was her. I will update my records.

Thanks,
Mike

The Taylor brothers were cousins of mine.
The picture you are talking about was taken at my Aunt's house (the Taylor brothers mother) the Christmas season 1966. The Taylor brothers have two sisters, Janis and Judy. How did you know Billy Joe?
