Do you have any copies of marriage records for this part of the family. I'm working on some heritage societies for all of us and it would be nice to know if anyone in the family has copies of anything, including Bible records as I don't know who ended up with what. We have lots of DAR and SAR possibilities as well as several others.

Thanks Mary
Mary, thank you for all of the tokens and the wonderful words that you left on my loved ones' memorials. Yes, my sister now knows the answers to what the rest of us are seeking. When she was dying in the hospital, she looked out her window and said "I see a rainbow....I am happy". She was ready to go to heaven. I miss her so much.

Thank you so very much for sponsoring Gramps' Memorial Page! He was an amazing man. A hard worker and a good father and grandfather. He raised my cousin when his mother deserted him! Many times I saw Gramps, exhausted from a very hard day at work. He built all of the homes that I ever lived in.
My mom drew a floor plan on a brown paper bag of her "dream" home. Gramps looked at it, erased the doorway and moved it to allow for a table and chairs in the kitchen...and then just built us a home from the concrete basement to the roof!
He truly was AMAZING! Thanks for honoring such a special man in my life for me!
Your Friend,

RE: Sgt. James T Knox and wife Clara
Thank you so much! I try to tell as much about my loved ones as I can. It's important to me to share their stories and I'm glad that you take the time to read about them!
YES, I'd love to meet in Lebanon. My husband was born and raised in Lebanon, so we visit several times a year. Unfortunately, he doesn't have immediate family living there anymore. He's 87 and the last member of his immediate family! We live in Overland Park, Kansas, but are planning to visit Lebanon before Memorial Day. Just let me know when you'll be nearby and we'll plan to meet you there! Enjoy your upcoming weekend!

Transferring a memorial
M. Richards, thanks for sponsoring my sister-in-law's memorial. Her name is Mary Ann Churchill/Hayes Sloan #12281954. I noticed that it says that you maintain it and originally created by my sister, Juanita Sloan Lowrance, who is deceased. Are you related? I sure wish that you could transfer her memorial to me. Thanks !!!

Beautiful Savior Is My Lord Jesus Christ

Oh my goodness! I checked my email this morning (it is after midnight-I haven't gone to bed yet) and found you have sponsored numerous memorials of mine. Thank you, thank you, I can never thank you enough. You are such a kind, thoughtful & gracious lady.

I don't check my email everyday, it just depends on how busy I am. Sometimes I don't get to it for a couple of weeks. I am so sorry I didn't thank you sooner.

God Bless you & yours, hoping you had a very Blessed Easter.

John 11:25-26 (KJV)
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

May we all find comfort and be grateful for the sacrifice that our Savior made along with the power of His Resurrection.

Special thanks for all of the comfort and support that you provide to so many.

Frank Pullen
My great-grandfather, Frank Pullen, is the father of my grandmother Velma Haberkorn. His parents are listed as Charles and Elizabeth Rhoades Pullen. William, their first child, must have died a year after birth, and then Frank was born in October 1871. I don't claim to be a "ghost-whisperer," but I always feel an aura of sadness whenever I review Great-grandfather Frank's information in my family tree. Was this because he had to choose to live with his dad, Charles after Charles divorced Elizabeth, his mother. A census report lists him living with Great-grandfather Charles, his dad, and Sarah Allhands is listed as his mother in a census report. However, that is not possible. Was their some kind of soap opera going on with Charles, his mom Henrietta, his dad Tom, Elizabeth, Sarah, Frank, George, and Sarah's child(?) with Charles, James Garfield Pullen, who moved to California with Charles after Sarah, his second wife's(?) death. After a great many hours of research, I found his third marriage record to Emma Self in California. Did he divorce Elizabeth or did she divorce him? Charles seemed to have been a man who liked women. It was difficult for me to find a reference to my great-grandfather Charles Pullen that listed Thomas Pullen and Henrietta Troupe(Throop) as his parents. One obituary left out his name and a correction was added in the next newspaper apologizing for the absence of Charles' name. Could you tell me what went wrong with Charles' marriage to my great-grandmother, Elizabeth?
