I enjoyed looking at your memorials in this cemetery. Interesting before and after. Of course, I know you would prefer the original stones were there. I will forever look at new stones with old dates differently... that they were replacements of stones that were lost. I had just thought these graves were not originally marked, and a later relative placed the stone. --Amy

Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph these two stones. It's a long way to New Hampshire from where I live, and consequently unlikely that I would have the chance to take the photos myself.

Thanks for te additional information about Henry Lackie. Some additiona added to in his Find-A-Grave site. See: www.weldonrailroad.com for information about the battle of the Weldon Railroad where Henry Lackie along with 400 Vermonters were captured in 1864.
