Second try
Please check memorial 8550575. I think you have the wrong photo there, but since it looks Latvian, I could be wrong!

No, don't add it. I'll keep searching. This one is a puzzle! I do think that stone looks older than 1940 but that may be because I was born in 1947 and I don't feel THAT old! LOL

Thank you.. but that didn't help lol.. I know many are in Boynton Cemetery because of death records. I have added them but for some reason my photo requests etc. didn't go through.

I will check Kalamazoo genweb for the other cemeteries where other Alders of ours are at.

If I do not get any replies I guess my last resort would be to get in touch with the cemetery.

Do thank you for the link. Maybe it will come in handy still :)

Greetings from Northern Michigan.

I seen you had taken the pictures for this cemetery so I thought I would give this a try because I do not know where to begin to find out if there are more Alders buried there.

I added Cena Alders (my great grand aunt) to the list as it says on her death record she is buried there. Her father Henry died a few years later and I am curious if he is also there as well.

If you could point me in the right direction as to where I should look to find the info I would greatly appreciate it!!! I have come to a road block on our Dutch roots :(

Thank you so much
Jana

Although this tombstone says John L Morrison, his birth certificate and both his marriage certificates state he was Lewis John Morrison, although his death certificate says otherwise. This was due to his second wife's preference and was not a legal name change.
I have the original birth certificate. My father was Lewis Earl, and know as Earl to distinguish him from his father.

RE: Neibor/Niebor/ Nieboer/Neiboer
You might want to check. I do see 2 pending name changes on my listing with the correct spelling for Nell and Albert- Nieboer.
John Albert and Edwin look OK. I believe I have deleted all the dupes I made with the alternate spellings. Perhaps a note in the bio section will help avoid more duplicates in the future? Sorry for the extra work!

Neibor/Niebor/ Nieboer/Neiboer
After finding 4 different spellings in the records, I've confused myself with this spelling for Albert, Nell, John Albert, etc. I MEANT to correct to whatever is on the marker photos. Sorry about this!

RE: Barbara Todish Newman
Reread Frank's obit. It only mentions surviving relatives. Barbara preceded him as did his wife Jennie. Given Barbara's DOB/age, is daughter or grandchild a better fit? Sorry to send so many messages?

Frank's cemetery plot info. They are in adjacent plots, so there is some relationship. Interesting. Could be a grandchild and Frank owned the plot?
