RE: Arjaantje Sandifort DeBoer
That would be great, and I would appreciate it (and the headstone picture). Do you have her husband's memorial as well, or does it belong to someone else?

Arjaantje Sandifort DeBoer
I just transferred Arjaantje to Harrison Cemetery because I learned she was in the wrong cemetery. Now I see that you already have a memorial for her. Please look at the information under #133038847 and see if you would include in yours, since I need to deleted the memorial I made.

Find A Grave Memorial# 15090440
I can fill in a blank for you related to Find A Grave Memorial# 15090440 for Jogchum Jans Maas and Grietje Jaspers Visser.

Comments state: Married first Grietje Jaspers Visser in 1870 and father of ? and Jinke Maas.
Jinke is my great grandmother, Jennie Maas.

My grandmother's handwritten notes about her mother's family showed she had half brothers: John, Harry, and William; half sisters: Katie (Trijntje), Maggie (Grietche), Winnie (Wyniah, Annie (Antje) and Lizzie (Loltje), and step siblings, John and Anna Veenstra/Feenstra.
Everything you have for the find-a-grave memorials related to this family matches what I have in my Family Tree.

Jennie is buried with her husband Cornelius J Van Geest at Valley View Cemetery, in Sioux County, IA. Is there a way to link my grandmother's information to her father - Jogchum Jans Maas?

Thanks, Lee Julian

Hello Jeff,

Would it be possible to transfer responsibility for Dale Owen Brink, buried in the Corsica Cemetery to me? Dale was my uncle. I am working on providing accurate details for members of my mother's family.

Thank you,
Sharon DeBoer
Granddaughter of Harm Harmanus Brink, who was Dale Brink's father

Doty Hill Cemetery, Pike NY

Many thanks for going there and documenting the cemetery. It looks to be in awful shape. Three of my ancestors are buried there (Ira Murray, Sarah Ann Parker, and Daniel Raymond Murray). I do not think you found Daniel Raymond Murray (he isn't listed) but he is buried there too (died at 13 days, Mar 24, 1817), according to some of our family papers that recorded a visit to the cemetery in about 1912 and spoke of three graves related to our family. Ira was married to Miriam Wallace Parker. Sarah Ann was Miriam's daughter by her first husband Tille Parker (and Ira's adopted daughter) and she died of consumption at 22. Daniel Raymond was the infant son of Miriam and Ira.

If you have any better pictures of any of the above graves, or any text that isn't posted on FindAGrave, please advise...

Many thanks for all you do...

RE: George W. Harttman
He is my great-grandfather. George Washington Hartman was a common name back then, but this George Washington Hartman is definitely my great-grandfather. He was married three times, and two of his wives died within days of giving childbirth. His first and third wives are buried in the same cemetery. His second wife, my great-grandmother, is buried in Douglas, Wyoming. I added the family links to his memorial. Please delete the one you added. Thank you.

RE: hartman
it is possible. george had several wives die young. guess i will have to dig around and see what i come up with. i do know that he was married to two of the ladies buried in the harmtman plot in kearney. laura and amelia. he was also married to henny (buried in douglas wyoming). i think maybe my aunt added that.
i am related to george thru the wife buried in wyoming.
i think there was another george w. hartman in nebraska at that time though.
thanks for your reply. i will let you know what i find out.

in the comments on spouse for george w. hartman (kearney nebraska) you have flora w. sprague. where did you come by that information and what happened to her? where is she buried? did they have any children?
george was my great great grandfather. i have been working on my family tree, but was unaware of flora. although i knew george outlived several wives.
are you related thru one of georges brothers? thanks for any help you can give.

Bridget Wright
I was wondering how much info you have on Clarence D. Smith. If I am piecing together information correctly my grandmother, Florence Smith (1917) was a daughter to him, born out of wedlock. She talked about her dad, Clarence Denver Smith from Council Bluffs who had a sister Zelda (Zella). Story goes they her parents Clarence D. Smith and Clara Price were married only a short time and the divorced and he was a tobacco salesman. He was not a part of her life growing up so that is all I have. She thought his last known location was near Chicago ( I think that would have been in the 30's). Let me know if this fits with anything you have.
