|Jay Raveill||Nancy McPherson (# 7988349)|
I wanted to follow up with an Edit in Find A Grave that was preceded by an incorrect edit.
My GG grandfather, William Samuel McPherson, was placed in the wrong cemetery in Find A Grave several years ago. The correct cemetery with tombstone is in Find A Grave as of Feb. 27, 2015. He and his second wife (Martha Patrick) were buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery not Pleasant Home Cemetery. I come from the first marriage to Nancy Palestine Faulkner McPherson (# 7988349) which is one of your sites and where the incorrect edit was done.
I wanted to make sure that you could change the husband of Nancy Palestine Faulkner McPherson to William Samuel McPherson # 143140315 in place of the current link to William Samuel McPherson # 66934556.
Thanks for your contributions to Find A Grave! I can't make it to Alabama anytime soon so it is wonderful to see images of these tombstones.

Hello, Mr Cook. I have a question for you regarding James Willis Cook and I sent you an email at the address provided but it was returned to me as "unsendable"...before I ask my question here, I'd just like to make sure that you are still available on this website. I hope to hear back from you and many thanks for your time.

Do you know the exact date of marriage of Robert H. Henderson and Nora? They are my great-grandparents and I am doing research for my DAr application.

I got your submission mixed up with William T. Amerson. You didn't put down she was the daughter of LJ and Emily May. Pardon me! I'll learn to read the page next time. I'll contact the contributor for William T. Amerson.

|Lisa E. May Axtell||Julia Amerson|
My name is Lisa May Axtell. I've been a May family researcher for several years. I believe a fellow researcher that lives is Washington County, GA has found an error with Julia. We do not believe Julia was Julia Lucenda May, daughter of LJ and Emily Cato May now at all. She is not in the 1870 census with her parents. She is also not mentioned as a heir in LJ's estate in 1900 (when she was still living). William T. Amerson married a Julia Bridges, so maybe this is who is buried at the cemetery.
She also found that Martha Ann May, daughter of LJ and Emily May was married to a Willian Amerson. She died in 1874, making her the mother of Andrew Jackson Amerson, not Julia, who he didn't marry until around 1876-1878.
I understand he also married Dicie Elizabeth May, which was also the daughter of LJ and Emily May. That much I do know!
I'm going to do some research to find out HOW I got Julia down as one of the children and will need to make corrections as well. Just wanted to know your thoughts on this and see if you have source material that states Julia was LJ and Emily's daughter. Thanks!

Dear Mr. Cook,
Thank you for your wonderful contributions to Findagrave. I would like to offer a correction to the information on my husband's great grandfather's record. He is listed in Union Cemetery, Butler County Alabama, as James Lafayette Lee. According to our records, his first name is actually Jackson rather than James. We have a copy of his death certificate, but it shows J. L. Lee as the tomb stone reads. The census records show him as Jackson Lafayette Lee. When I sent in the picture of him, I wrote the name as it is currently on Findagrave, but have since discovered the first name is actually Jackson.
Once you have corrected the name at Findagrave, I will correct the name on the picture.
Thanks so much,
Sandra Lee, wife of Michael D. Lee
