Susan Barnes
NATHANS' FATHER
Are you sure that his father was Miles? My cousin Jill did research years ago and found his father to be Robert and mother as Sarah (a cousin).
She list Miles as a brother who married Usley Bracher 1st and Nilly Harwell second. He was born in 1750
She shows Nathan as born in 1765.

Thank you for any help.

Maclilus
Henningsen #8080930
Hello:

I am the one changing the place of birth for Henningsen. I base my information on a biography of his sister, Josephine Amelia de Henningsen (d. 1904 in South Africa) aka Notre Mere Sr. Marie Gertrude, who recounted their childhood and that the family lived in Brussels until the revolution of 1830. Only the boys were baptized in England, while the girls were baptized in France. The family, except the father, were raised as devout Catholics. Father was John Charles Henningsen, from Denmark, and the mother was Louisa Burke, from Ireland. The sister recounted stories of her elder brother's adventuresome spirit in Brussels, and that he taught her how to use a sword (which she found useful when she was guarding children under her charge during a native uprising in SA.

I hope you find my information sufficient to accept.

RE: Ranburne First Baptist Church
I just got through doing the same thing. I have to apologize! The two cemeteries look almost alike but the church buildings a different. It wasn't until I looked at the church sign and realized the sign and the church were different to the sign and the church of in down town Ranburne. Apparently there are two Ranburne First Baptist Churches. When I went to the grave of John R Nolen it is at the Ranburne First Baptist in town next to the school which is a different one than the one you have posted. Like an idiot I forgot to take my camera so I will have to search for a picture on the down town church to send you. Robert Nolen is of no relation to me and I would be glad to transfer the memorial to you if you are a relation?
I am sorry about all the confusion.

RE: Ranburne First Baptist Church
I went back to the Church today and the cemetery is at Union Hill Baptist Church at the intersection of Cleburne County Hwy 46 and Cleburne County Hwy 10. If you would be so kind as to remove the photo from the memorial I will try to find a picture of the Ranburne First Baptist Church and send it to you.

RE: Ranburne First Baptist Church
I will have to dig through my wife's records to find the name. I remember the cemetery well because of the sand covering the entire cemetery. I just can't remember the name of the church or cemetery. I will find it and send it to you. Richard Ferguson

Ranburne First Baptist Church
The picture you have posted on memorial 51149155 is not of the Ranburne First Baptist Church and cemetery. The cemetery you have pictured has a sand covering the entire cemetery. Ranburne First Baptist has no sand in the cemetery.

Mary G. Colbert
Mary G. "Polly" Covington Colbert was my husband's GGG Grandmother. We are the ones that placed this new stone in the Enon Cemetery. She is buried in the Clayton plot because her daughter Annie was married to Madison Alfonzo Clayton. I have information that I can post about her. How can I send it to you so that you can do a bio on her?
