Hilary A. Thomason
Hello, I have been researching Hillory Stone's line which led me to the Thomason line. I was wondering what the correct death date is for Hilary Adolphus Thomason is. You have 1935 and the headstone says 1925. Is the headstone incorrect (as they sometimes are)? Thanks! Oh, and Hillory Stone was my Aaron Stone's brother.

RE: John & Frances Cromer
Do you have a middle name or dates of birth & death? I have too many John Cromer's to check all the wives. If I had to guess, I'd say 3rd or 4th cousin. If you're family and want to keep them I probably have some additions to the information. I usually ask for transfers that appear to be only tombstone information taken by someone going through the cemetery.

You are more than welcome. I will be going back over to Franklin County soon so if there are additional names you want photos of, just let me know. Also, I give credit to Evie Whitfield for the obits, she had sent them to me and I posted them.

Thank You
I just wanted to thank you for adding a bit about my great grandmother Rhoda Lula Thpmason Farmer, buried at Tates Creek Baptist Church in Stephens County, Georgia. Having her parents full names will help me further my own search. A little about Lula, she married Jake Farmer. They had 10 children together. Something my grandmother always enjoyed sharing, there were 10 kids, 5 boys and 5 girls, 5 born on od years, five born on even years. 5 left handed and 5 right handed. My grandmother, Minnie Ruth, was the third child and the first girl. Marvin was the oldest and Wendell, second, died at age 14 after falling in the pasture, landing on a stump and rupturing internal organs, bleeding to death. The other 9 children lived rather productive lives. The other 4 boys each serving in WWII and coming home to raise families. The 5 girls each married and all raised children except for the youngest child, Patsy, who never had children. Patsy was 18 when Lula passed away of a brain aneurysm. As of today, 11/22/2011, two children are still alive. Barney O. Farmer (widower) of Toccoa, Ga. and Johnny R. Farmer (m. Ethel), of Gastonia, N.C.

Thank you again for your tip. I hope I didn't ramble too much, but I like connecting with my cousins. Even if they are extremely distant. Have a wonderful day.

Have you run across Irma White Tuttle- she was a daughter of John and Louisa Fisher White? She had a son Stanley Tuttle. Irma died before Dec. 1977, when her sister, Elva White Sprague died.

RE: Fountains
I recognized the last name and then finally remembered Dena. I often wondered what ever happened to you.

Thanks for sendng the picture. My family history pictures were ruined when my computer crashed a few years ago. Some of my info I was able to retrieve from some CD's but not all was saved. I was just sick.

Thanks again, if you have any other pics you can email directly to me.

RE: Saint Stephen's Cathedral
I'm sorry if I came across as unfriendly it was not my intent.
Okay, let me explain.
People are not being buried in churches anymore and especially not normal people like you and me. You have to be a cardinal/bishop/nobilty/etc to have the chance to be buried there. That's even more so the case with cathedrals. In Germany, as an example, burials in churches were disalowed in the 16th century.

The plot information you posted (group 54, row 23, number 4) also indicates that it is a cemetery.

I did some research and found out Maria Schansky and Karl Weiss are at the Zentralfriedhof . Her day of burial is 08. July 1982. The day of burial for Karl Weiss is 08 March 1950.

Look for yourself:
Put Schansky in the first field and you'll find your grandmother, it will even give you a Otto Schansky. (Though he died in 2002)

Sorry again.
Have a nice sunday

Saint Stephen's Cathedral
The two memorials you've posted at Saint Stephen's Cathedral are obviously wrong there ... either mark them as unknown (which they don't seem to be since you have plot information) or move them to the correct cemtery.

Best regards
