|MPotvin||Gordon Corwin Scott|
I wanted to let you know that Gordon Casler Scott is not the son of Wilma Corwin Scott and Harold O.Scott. Their son was Gordon Corwin Scott F.A.G.# 71277306 ( His middle name is his mother's maiden name)
Born 4 Dec 1922 in Coblenz, Germany ( His father was a US Army Dental Surgeon and was stationed in Coblenz at the time of his son's birth ). Gordon died 8 Jul 1997 in Nevada and is buried in Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
He was a Sgt in WW 2 US Army.
SSN # 550141447 His Soc Sec, death information shows his birth and place of birth, death and Parent information. There is a US Consular record of his birth in Coblenz, Germany which I have on my profile page of him.
I hope this is helpful in making adjustments in information.

I have dug up multiple stones there but hadn't found his to dig up. I think there are multiple stones in that area that have been knocked down and covered up. At one time in the early 1900's there was a count of 30,000 burials in the old section alone. I believe some had wooden crosses but I think there are some more stones. Thank you

|Eileen Lentz||Image on the wrong spouse for Capt. Townsend Lee Marcus|
Lillian G. Marcus (1902-1988) # 82518773 is the wrong Lillian Marcus to be the wife of Capt. Townsend Lee Marcus. His actual wife, Lillian Bean Wallis Marcus (1918-2008) is linked to him also. Her Find A Grave memorial # is 26852862. The image of the gravestone should be removed from # 82518773 and uploaded to # 26852862. I have requested that the link to # 82518773 be removed.
Thank you for your kind attention.

I requested a photo for Lillian's memorial. You have one for Townsend and it is a double. I have requested a photo of Lillian Marcus' monument, but I think you can provide that without going to the cemetery. Thank you

Good Job. I have dug up many headstones in the past but this was a surprise. Because of his age I hadn't thought Civil War. Thank you

|Sally Haws||Pioneer Memorial Cemetery|
Jeff, thank you for trying to get photos for the Haws family in the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in San Bernardino.
I just recently got an email about this from Lesa Nichols at the City of San Bernardino, Pioneer Memorial Cemetery, Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department.
I hadn't had a chance to follow up on it before now. I thought you might be interested in this. Following is the email:
You had placed a request on find a grave for pictures of your relatives markers at Pioneer Memorial Cemetery. Our records indicate they had a marker at one point in time, unfortunately, these markers are not visible at this time. We can probe the graves and attempt to uncover them, but it cannot be done for several months. Also, I cannot guarantee that markers are still present or the condition of them.
I will hold on to your information. As soon as I am able to get the area probed I will be glad to forward you a picture of what I find.
Sorry I was not able to produce a picture at this time.

Thanks again, Perri
