I happened upon this site by accident. I was touched by your note and photo. I am happy to know there are others who think of my dad fondly, and that he is not forgotten. Thank you.

|Charles M. McPartland||I Cannot Believe This!|
My family and I lived in Claremont from 1966 to 1986. I graduated from CHS in 1972 and Cal Poly, Pomona, in 1976. Uh, needless to say, my 20th reunion, which I did not attend, was in 1992. I went to the class' 10th reunion but I was largely unimpressed. We lived at 718 Scripps Drive. Scripps runs east/west along Cahuilla Park, which is just above the parking lot at CHS. We were about five houses down from Scripps and Mountain. Condit School was behind our backyard. We used to let our dog out the backyard gate for runs in the school yard. The grand ol' times. What a small world!

Wow! That must have been a ball going into Keaton's old house. If you told me the home is worth 15 million dollars, I'd certainly believe you. It must have been so much fun to live in Beverly Hills in the 30s-50s. Thank you for your offer to canvass the cemeteries in your local area. I lived in Gardena during the 50s-60s and Claremont during the 60s-80s. Take care.

I appreciate your help regarding Randy. I'd better re-think all of the indicators that led me to believe he is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
I saw Buster Keaton's grave at Forest Lawn (Hollywood Hills, I believe) the better part of 30 years ago. Have you ever seen him (as a cameo) in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum?
