| RE: Murray Harris I was so surprised to find him at FLG and even more surprised that someone had already found him. I have already embellished it, and just thought there could be a bit more. Cannot find a photo. There is a whole book about his company but too expensive to buy and no library carries it. That would probably have a photo. Nobody probably cares anyone. I wish Find a Grave had a "counter" to see how many people view a particular memorial, like when you look at eBay items. I'm so glad you are free about transferring. I think you've done a couple others for me which I appreciate.Added by Bernard Johnson on May 12, 2013 9:40 PM | |

Veteran film director, he died in Hollywood after a three-week illness. He started his career in 1919 as an assistant cameraman at Paramount-Famous Players on Long Island. In 1926 he moved to Hollywood to work for the First National Studios - which is now Warner Bros and later worked for Monogram and Universal. From 1934 to 1941 he was under contract to MGM and directed the "Maisie" film. He died leaving his wife and three sons behind.Added by TLS on Mar 03, 2013 7:35 AM

| RE: Frances Brose Craig
I am confused about this Frances being married to Howard Brose. I found a 1920 census that lists Frances as a Bogart living at home with siblings age 18 and then there is another Frances Brose married to Howard Brose listing both Frances and Howard as having been born in Ohio and I believe Frances Bogart was born in NY??Added by Barbara Samans on Mar 02, 2013 10:03 AM

| Aleck Curlett If you'd like to add what I sent that would be great. He did some nice work here, the Santa Rita, Rialto, and Hotel Congress you can find on the web, I think the Tucson Transfer Co is as well, but I'll see if I can find you a link.
Thanks! Cool that he did such nice work in both areas.

| Aleck Curlett Thanks for having him here. I had old info with a birth year of 1880, obviously they didn't have the correct information, but then it was from a book in 1956. Curlett also designed several buildings in Tucson AZ, where I live, including the Rialto row of buildings (main part was a hotel now concert venue), Hotel Congress (fire in 34 during John Dillinger chase, 2nd floor rebuilt, 3rd never redone), part of the Santa Rita hotel (now demolished), and the Tucson Warehouse and Transfer building. I've tried finding information on him, but the L. A. stuff with Beelman were the only things listed. In the real early days he partnered with his dad, William (apparently not the one on findagrave as the dates would be impossible :), but the Tucson buildings were done 5 years after his death. Thanks again!Added by Catherine Westergaard on Jun 19, 2012 6:43 PM | |

| Reg. Gillingwater ... One last suggestion. I've written a small bio of Gillingwater located under the first Gillingwater PHOTO on that Findagrave page. You may want to substitute your brief bio, for the more inclusive life story of Claude Gillingwater. Thanks for you time.Added by the Chronicler on Apr 22, 2012 8:22 PM | |

| Claude Gillingwater ... Hello Theo,
I was updating photos on your entree page for actor Claude Gillingwater, and I noticed you incorrectly entered his death date as 1938, instead of the correct 1939. I thought you may want to correct. Thanks.
