Tron Wintrone, etc
Richard: I think Tron had a sister Leah. Leah Winthrop (sp) married Ole Solie Olsen Flaskerudeie.

Do you have any definitive info on sibs of Tron? I know that Tron married a Hassalhagen.

I am a descendant of Leah and Ole Solie, but also a descendant of Lars Haselhaugen and Ragnhild.

I just realized that Leah could be Tron's sister, but would love your expert opinion.

transfer request
Dear Richard,
Thank you for your amazing work. I do not know where you find your information. I would like to request transfer of several memorials from Rural Valley Cemetery. John F. Piatt and Marietta Clark Piatt are my paternal great grandparents. Floyd Louis Piatt is my grandfather. (My father was Frederick, a.k.a. "Buster" in the photos, and my own brother is a Floyd!)

RE: Elizabeth Stelle (1712-1768)
Thank you for your prompt reply. I think that most of the Drakes buried here are my relatives. Elizabeth's father-in-law was he 6th great grandfather. I'd love to visit this cemetery.

Three Mile Run gravesites
I'm researching my husband's ancestors, Daniel Hendrickson & his wife Idah Reynierson Wycoff Hendrickson, whose markers are photographed on Find-a-Grave website. I noticed that their death dates are the same, 23 Jul 1804. Could this be their shared burial date? My records show Daniel William (Willem) Hendrickson was born 1709 but died 1788. Thanks for any clarification you can provide from your data. The on-line photos are not clear enough for me to accurately decipher.

Thank you,

Request to use Photos of Family members

I would like your permission to use the tombstone photos and Family Photos, you've posted, on Find A Grave, that pertain to my families.

I'm working on the Hatfield family at the moment.

My direct lines run Frasure/Frazier/Newman, Martin/Justice/Hall/Salmons/Salter and many more.

Thank you for taking your time to post the information and photos, for us, on Find A Grave.

Thank you,
Sheryl Frazier Long

Charles Hendrickson
Thanks for deleting the memorial in Pennington Presbyterian Cemetery. Have you seen the picture of Charles Hendrickson and brief bio for him on page 79 in "Images of America Hopewell Valley" by Jack & Lorraine Seabrook? I'll try to attach a link, but don't know if it will work.

Anthony Abbatiello Jr, Neshanic Cemetery
Thank you for posting my nephew's obituary and adding his name to the Neshanic Cemetery List. I have added his photo today, together with his date of birth. I too am researching my family history and I am thankful to Find a Grave for helping me confirm a large majority of my ancestors! Anthony's passing will be felt by his family and friends for a long time to come, he was so young. Thank you for taking the time to help us remember him with love.

Quality Work

You do the highest quality work on Find A Grave that I have ever seen. You push the power of this site to the limit and showcase the potential of this powerful resource tool. Your completed memorials are the best and set the bar for what we should all strive to achieve. When a researcher happens upon one of your memorials he has hit the mother-load. Your Williamson memorials could not be better.

Let me know if you wish the transfer of any of my memorials to add your magic touch.

You are a true credit to your hobby and your unselfish dedication has made an impact.

RE: LTJG vs Ltjg
At one time the pull down did have it as Lt(jg) but that is not important. Thanks.

Richard, I linked Joseph's Youngquist's family to him, and would be more than willing to transfer ownership over to you, as I am not related to Joseph at all. Just let me know. Thanks for passing on the information too.

Lisacul Rosie
Athleague Parish Cemetery.

In that instance you need to request admin to include Athleague in the pull down menu for Galway, explaining its proximity as a border town to the possible burial place you are seeking and have the memorials in the most likely county this being Galway.

Lisacul Rosie
Athleague Parish Cemetery.

Cemetery records/Headstones are being digitized in parts of Galway but not sure haw far they are with completing exercise. Suggest you contact:-

Marie Mannion,
Heritage Officer,
Galway County Council,
Prospect Hill, Galway County Council

Attaching a memorial to a cemetery where burial is unknown should be avoided. If you edit the burial detail selecting recent burial it will remove from the cemetery page for Roscommon and show Burial unknown.

Lisacul Rosie
Athleague Parish Cemetery.
Hi Richard,

Reading between the lines of your memorials you are not absolutely sure that any of your family members were buried in either of the three cemeteries in Athleague Town, Roscommon or any part of Athleague Parish Roscommon, but more likely one of the cemeteries of Athleague Parish in Galway.

Am I on the right lines

Transfer of Joseph Simpers
Awww, Richard, thanks so much!!! Emma

Re:Joseph Simpers Transfer
Richard, please hold off on my request; I removed Joseph's Father, Calvin, from burial at Cherry Hill, because of the wording on Calvin's death cert. I believe he was buried at Eastern Shore State Hospital, Dorchester Co., Cambridge, Md., but there is no Find A Grave option for that as a burial place, that I'm aware of. The Hospital no longer exists; I spoke with someone who told me there is a cemetery still at the former Hospital property. I did keep Joseph's Mother listed as buried at Cherry Hill, per a descendant's memory. Thanks!! Emma

Re: Joseph Simpers Memorial/Transfer?
Hi, Richard!! May I request a transfer of the Joseph Simpers # 19005351 memorial/Cherry Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cecil Co., Md.? If this is not possible, perhaps you would like to link him to his Parents, and my Great Grandparents, Calvin and Wilhelmina Lloyd Simpers, also buried at Cherry Hill. Thanks so much! Emma

Grave Recorder
Mount Olive Photo Request
Hi. I will be going to Mount Olive cemetery over the next 3 or 4 weeks (weather permitting) to take photos of my relatives grave sites and I saw you had a request(s). If you would call the cemetery office (number on the front page of the cemetery page) and get the location of the burial, I will try to get the photo request for you while I am there. Just add it to your memorial in the plot section, but if you could please get the Section number that would be very helpful. They are very helpful at the office. Kathy
