RE: Cemetery Photo Request
OK, I'll do that. The only reason I didn't do it earlier is, if I do it, your name does not appear as the photographer, does it? I just did not want to take credit for your work. If that's OK with you, I'll be glad to add them. Thanks for your consideration,

Clayton Raney

Stopped by to use Hillcrest Memorial photo and add your tag to it. Then I noticed, ten years plus; wow! What dedication and such a blessing to so many.

RE: Cemetery sign
I don't know if you noticed or not, but the cemetery photo has been changed. Assuming you deleted the other photo, I noticed it deleted the photo from all memorials as well. When I posted the new photo, it posted on all those memorial. Thanks again for your help. Dean

Cemetery sign
Charles, I do Find A Grave at Union Cemetery. There is a new cemetery sign out front and I would like to add it to the Cemetery page. Would mind removing your old photo so I can add a new photo, or, you can replace it, your choice. Thank you

Depauli grave site
Hello Mr. Johnson,
My name is Patricia Borjon and I work at Union Cemetery. I am involved in trying to locate any surviving family members of the Depauli family. We (Historical Union Cemetery) are interested in contacting anyone related to the Depauli family in hopes that we can renovate the beautiful statue monument at the Depauli gravesite. If you have any information you feel might help in anyway, please call me (661) 324-9648 (H.U. Cemetery) (661) 549-6883 (My work cell) or you may also email me at
I look forward to hear from you.

Thank you,

Ms. Patricia Borjon

Peggy Leola (Romig) Stolt
Do you have any idea who her father was? I have Romig and Hindle as her mother. Oscar Romig was Eleanora Hindle's first husband. They had a daughter named Mildred together who, may have been born after his death. Oscar, passed away in 1899. So, Peggy could't have been his child. But, Peggy was not born until 1904.

Charles Johnson,
Thank you very much for taking the time to photograph a picture of Henry Joseph Grontkowski, Jr. tombstone in the Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery in Bakersfield, CA. I live in Missouri and will probably never be able to visit Henry's grave. I will share the picture with my family and will give you the credit for photographing the picture.

Seale Graves at Union Cemetery
Thank you very much for your looking for the headstones of little Betty Seale and her grandfather Joseph B. Seale at the Union Cemetery. I'm sad there are no headstones, but definitely not surprised. The late 1920's, and 1930's were rough times for everyone.

Thank you again for checking into their burials for me.
