| RE: Maggie Aldridge You are welcome for the photo, and if I haven't told you already you are welcome to use it on other sites if you wish. I actually enjoy contributing, it gets me out walking & the weather has been lovely for it. I'm also paying it forward to so many that have helped me. Have any requests in Ellis county, just let me know & I'll do my best.

| RE: Ellig Barbara ~ I will turn in a request for a location for the burial you requested. Please be advised that it takes two to four weeks to get a response from the cemetery and then I will drive down to take the pictures. I will not claim the requests right now because they will expire before I can get down there. If you have any questions or comments please let me know. ~ Karin LoveAdded by Karin Lohr Love on Mar 11, 2013 7:41 PM | |

| RE: Farris decendent Thank you for you reply. We have been working at locating all the branches of my dad's family and suddenly we find a Missouri connection while all th eothers are Brooklyn NY, HA! I have a nice virtual cemetery of th eCivil War soldiers I havefound, and researched, as the NY State Military Museum has regimental records. I found an unknown Revolutionary War hero and have been working towards his official recognition here. Visit Capt Isaac Conklin
Find A Grave Memorial# 56974504 At this point if you google him you should get right to it (the more google hits the higher up on the list he goes)

| Culvey Washington Farris and Ida Mae Collins Farris Hello and isn't FindaGrave wonderful. I saw a note you left on a Cedar gap photographer's page..My cousin Gloria Blue married Sylvester Carl Farris, and their daughter just sent me a photo of Culvey and Ida Mae which led us to the memorials in the Cedar Gap cemetery. Which led me to reading some notes left for you.
I have been doing a gret deal of genealogical work on the Baumwoll family on Ancestry.com with the help of a good friend of the family. How are you connected to Farris family?

| RE: Crutchfield/Scrutchfield We may be related somewhere down the line. I was actually only born in St. Louis and then my parents moved shortly after I was born. My grandparents lived there and in Wentzville for quite a while before moving to Dexter in the late 1970's.Added by Tim Crutchfield on Mar 19, 2011 10:22 PM | |

| Gideon Faris Hi Barbara,
I'm also descended from Gideon Faris through the McCulleys and Scutchfields who settled in Missouri and married into the Goodding family in the Macon County area. I was so excited to find Gideon's grave on here! I would so love to visit it in person one day.Added by C. Southwick on Feb 03, 2011 5:14 PM

| RE: Lois Katherine Walker Blancett There is a Wolf Creek Cemetery in Sangamon county that she might be buried at.
You might try contacting the Eldorado Memorial Library and see if they can find anything in the Eldorado Journal.
Is there a possible previous marriage and she might be buried next to her 1st husband and not show up as a Blancett.Added by Darrell Wesley on Aug 17, 2010 2:19 PM

| RE: Mesiniah Ervin Hello Barbara, the monument you see is a new headstone that has both Eli and his wifes original headstones attached to it. The picture posted on his wifes site is of her headstone, the monument also lists others buried in the same cemetery wich is the original Ervin cemetery located outside of Gape Geradeu Mo. We took these pictures on a trip we took in 2009 to that area doing research to find Hezekiah Ervin take care Doug ParmanAdded by Doug & Marilyn Parman on Aug 03, 2010 11:56 PM | |

| Lois Katherine Walker Blancett You have requested a photo for this person but are you certain that she is buried at Wolf Creek Cemetery at Eldorado, IL?
The latest list of cemetery inscriptions which was done in 2002 does not list any Blancett in this cemetery.Added by Darrell Wesley on Jun 24, 2010 8:18 PM

| RE: Farris/Fagan The inscription on Eli's headstone was very hard to read. I was able to verify it by the dates you had listed for him. What I was able to read was "Eli. Husband of Sarah Storie." I was able to see the year of birth and year of death. I wasn't able to see if there was anything else on the headstone that could be read. As you can see by the photo, it is quite weathered and appears to have been broken for some time.
The Farris/Fagan group I am related to is from the Wright County MO area. If you are also related to this group, I would love to hear about the information you have.
Thanks.Added by Steve Eden on Jun 07, 2010 7:02 AM
