Thank you for taking your time and effort to take these photos for me. It is much appreciated especially in the heat we have been experiencing. I'm not sure if these are my relatives or not, but with the dates verified, I can start checking. Thanks again and may God Bless You and yours.

Thank you very much for trying to find the grave and stone for Marie. I have removed the photo request and added a "no stone found" to the memorial.

Marie Bernards in Lady of Prompt Succor
According to the book, she is located in Section 2 Row 3 between Andrew Morales died 1985 and Emile Marchal died 1941. It is listed in book as Bernards, but, may be just Bernard. There very well may not be a stone. I do appreciate all of your time and effort. Thank you so much.

RE: Wintersheimer Pics.
Mam,

It was my extreme pleasure, partly for personal reasons for me to have taken these pictures.

As I stated, my Grandmother, Edna I. (Burt)Smallridge was a friend of the Wintersheimer family.

I went back and dug out the boxes with my Grandmother's picture/papers/clippings etc. and researched the connection.

Grandma was born, raised and married in Vinton County, Ohio. She was raised with the GRAVES family down there. One of the Graves boys, a Mr. Oakley Graves married one of the the Wintersheimer girls by the name of Nel according to Grandma's papers. Another of the Graves boys married into the BURT family. His name was Lindsey O. Graves and he married Julyna Burt after her first husband passed.Julyna was the sister of my Great Grandfather, Langley Chester Burt. That made Grandma Julyna (BURT) Graves' niece.

Also in Grandma's papers is the announcement where Nel's (if I'm reading this right, Nel was actually NELLIE Wintersheimer) sisters, BETTY WINTERSCHEIMER married a Mr. PAUL EUGENE GRABB.

In the e-mail that you sent me, you mentioned the GRABB family so while at St. Margarets I photographed the GRABB family plot, which is about 100 feet from the MOORE plot where you Mr. and Mrs. Wintersheimer are buried.

I do know from Grandma's papers that Nel and Betty Wintersheimer were sisters and that they are both daughters of WILLIAM J. and MARY (KENZ) WINTERSHEIMER.

I am NOT being critical, but on all the stones and in Grandma's papers, there is no "C" in the spelling of WINTERSHEIMER as you have them on your memorials for Mr. and Mrs. Wintersheimer

Again, if there is any other way that I may assist you here in Ross or in Vinton Counties, please, do not hesitate to say so.

Have a Blessed Easter.

God Bless,
Tom Smallridge

WINTERSCHEIMER
Mam,

I got your photo requests filled.

They are in the MOORE Family Plot in SECTION K

The front of the BIG stone says "MOORE," and all the Moores have individual markers in front of them.

The WINTERSHEIMER graves and their inscriptions are on the back side of the master MOORE stone and there are no other graves back there.

The GRABB family that you mentioned to me is approx. 100 feet away, also in SECTION K. One of the WINTERSHEIMER Daughters married into the GRABB family.

Her name was BETTY (WINTERSHEIMER) GRABB, born June 16, 1918. Died March 12, 1999.

I have pictures of the MOORE and GRABB family stones and will very gladly e-mail them to you, giving you ALL copyright ownership.

I see you have a "C" added to the spelling on your memorials. There are no "Cs" on any of the WINTERSHEIMER stones in there. Just a note.

Good luck with your research and if there is anything else I can do for, please feel free to say so. It would be my pleasure.

God Bless,
Tom Smallridge

Winterscheimer
Hello,

I live about 9 miles from St. Margarets Cemetery and got your photo request.

My grandmother used to be a friend of the Winterscheimers. You don't happen to know if they were related to the Reichelderfer family do you?

It's been so many years ago that I can't recall what the exact relationship was, but I do remember the Winterscheimers and the Reichelderfer families had some connection because they were all friends of my grandmother. I lived away from here for many years and was not here when they all passed.

I do seem to recall the Winterscheimers being buried either with or very close to the Reichelderfers.

I know where the Reichelderfers are buried for sure, the Winterscheimers, I'm not sure and would have to check with the caretaker. It's been at least 38-40 years since I've been in St. Margarets even though I drive past there to visit my brother. It's a catholic Cemetery and the two nicest Cemeteries in Ross County.

I'll wait until Monday, and if no one else has claimed your requests, I'll get the photos for you. I need to photograph the Longerbone family in there anyway as a favor for another contributor so he can determine if they are related to him.

God Bless,
Tom Smallridge
