RE: Mary Wallace--Huntsville
Not to worry, I shall be going back there a few more times while weather is yet good. Please hand tough and I'll see what I can do. I need the exercise. That cemetery is open and flat. I also have several relatives buried there, so I can go "visit" them.

Mary Wallace--Huntsville
I have a photo of a stone for a Mary Wallace, wife of Don Wallace, with dates of 1929-2006. If this is your Mary, please advise and I shall post the photo. I have not found any other Mary Wallace in the cemetery--yet--and I've walked almost every inch.

Anytime. As far as the death date, I have seem them loose on other stones and it seemed like maybe the mower hits them.

RE: Marston Drake
It is always interesting what gravestones say vs. what people thought. The maiden name of one of my great great grandmother's my aunt thought was spelled one way turned out was spelled differently. We learned this thanks to someone filling one of my findagrave photo requests.

RE: Linn family
My pleasure, Sally. I also added a photo to the existing memorials for Jennie and Calvin Linn whose stone was nearby.

RE: James EdwinLyle & wife Mary Neal Lyle
I've made the updates. You manage Ann Lyle Lee's memorial so you can link her to her parents:

James Edwin Lyle 25409785
Mary Neil Lyle. 25409798

Mary's maiden name is spelled differently in the two obituaries. Do you know whichh is correct: Neil or Neal?

RE: Harriet Sprinkle Cochran
You are correct. I fixed that. Are you Betty's sister? She & I exchanged information for many years, starting in the early 1980's.

RE: Matthew Linn
Matthew's stone was a fortunate find, Sally. If you look close, only the top portion of the stone was visible above the ground. It took some work to expose the lower portion so that his name was fully visible. Never did find any dates which maybe on the lower part of the stone. You can read the Civil War unit inscription which differs from what is listed on his memorial page.

There was also an adjacent stone that was tough to read. Looks like it has T. B. Linn on it.

Louise Scharien at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! I need the burial Section and Lot Numbers in order to take a photograph for you. This cemetery's staff does not help photo volunteers, and the burial location is not available anywhere else.

Phone: 708-366-1900

Last year I fulfilled over 450 photo requests at this cemetery after the burial location was provided.

Thank you!

Adalaide H Gandy #13691628
Adalaide Gandy seems to be entered twice in Find a Grave.
She is also #61338482 as Adalaide Hullings Powell Gandy and that site has a lot of family connections.
Maybe yours should be deleted?
I was fulfilling a photo request and noticed the duplication.
Yours, PJC

I would be happy to do this requests for you at Chapel Hill Gardens West if you can get section, plot, grave, etc. I just started back doing this and in that time, Chapel Hill started charging $10 for each lookup. But if you call, saying you are a relative they will give you the info.Don't tell them you are doing with Find a grave. For some reason they think find a grave volunteers make money... Their number is 630-941-5860. Let me know if you get that and I will be happy to help.

RE: James Pollock 1815-1905
Hi Sally,
Ignore the email I sent the other day. I read it wrong. I was having trouble with my internet and wasn't thinking straight. It went down right after I sent your message. Anyhow, thanks for the correction. I took care of it. I appreciate any corrections you might find. Thanks again.

HI Sally
What message did I sent you about James Pollock, and when? The last message I sent was about Oscar Dell Pollock to somebody else. I don't remember sending one on James. But if I did, please remind me what it was. Thanks Pat
