Swetland's at Chestnut Hill
Hi Kelly,
This has been a real mystery and took a long time to figure out, but I think I have posted proper tombstone photos for John W. Swetland, his wife Adaline J. Swetland and their son Ezrae at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Cattaraugus County, Portville, New York. Please let me know if you agree. Mark Weitzel

Grace Brink Foster
Ethel M. Purcell gravesite
I have been trying for years to find information on my grandmother, Ethel M. Purcell Brink Decker. In a listing from Conklin-L Archives sent to Gail Nielsen from Bettylou Kranz dated July 13, 2001, it shows Ethel Purcell 2/3/28. She had that she would send the section and lot # if anyone needed it for a name. I have been unable to contact Bettylou. I have contacted the funeral home and they can't find a listing for my Ethel. Her parents were Abraham Purcell and Anna Davis.

My grandmother and father, Russell Brink Jr. lived with Willis and Isabella Conkling who are burried at Rural Valley the 1920 census. They died in 1933 and I think my grandmother had passed away before that as she died when my father was young and he was sent to live with the VanInwegens that lived at Yankee Lake.

Do you have any idea how I can find information on the Ethel Purcell that is buried in Rural Valley Cem?

Thank you,
Grace Brink Foster

I'm working on photo requests in this general area. I'm actually backed up at the moment with 600+ graves to photo in Caneadea (about 45 mins. away from Clarksville). I want to get the photos done for each grave site as I go to each cemetery so I don't have to make a return trip. But I will soon be able to get to your request at Clarksville. Give me a bit of time, but if no one beats me to it, I'll get it done by mid Oct. (maybe sooner). OK? Just wanted to let you know some one was here working toward your goal. Have a great one! :)

RE: Saint Patricks Cemetery
Don't be sorry! Don't blame you at all.. the obit read Saint Patricks Cemetery and there was one on findagrave... I would have done the same thing! :-) I went to the cemetery today but haven't had any luck yet finding any of the three... it is a rather large sprawled out cemetery... so will continue to look. :-) Have a great weekend! :-)

Saint Patricks Cemetery
Never mind.. I figured it out.. I need to use my control F more often to find things on a page.. it is actually Greenwood cemetery.. I guess at one time it was known as Saint Patricks. :-)

St Patricks Cemetery
I see you requested three photos in St Patricks Cemetery in Cedar Falls.. I checked on USGENWEB and
there are no St Patricks cemeteries listed anywhere in Black Hawk County.. can you give me more info on where you found his grave at? I will be happy to try to fulfill your request. :-)

RE: Samuel Cleveland
Hi Kelly,
Don't remove him yet! I'm not sure if he may be somewhere else. I have to contact the caretaker as the cemetery is very big and VERY hilly! If we can locate him on the paper-map, I'll try again. I was not able to walk it all the other evening.
